Today marks a monumental achievement — we proudly announced that Communities In Schools has now reached every corner of West Virginia, spanning all 55 counties. This expansion is not just a milestone, but a testament to the transformative power of this program! @WVFirstLady

Earlier this month, @WVFirstLady and I had the pleasure of meeting with Dolly Parton to celebrate her Imagination Library success in West Virginia. More than 3 million books have been provided to WV children since 2007! 📖

Today we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day! 💙 💛 That made for the perfect day to sign SB 647 and SB 468. Both bills give deserved respect to our Down Syndrome community. SB 647: bit.ly/3ujdYRA SB 468: bit.ly/36bv38m 📸: bit.ly/3ucxyiI

Join me and Cathy today at the Culture Center to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the @WVStatePolice! They work hard to keep West Virginia safe, and I'm so proud to join them and the @WVDACH to unveil a very special 100th anniversary exhibit. bit.ly/2FB0Gqt

Wednesday, December 5, 2018, will be a state holiday in observance of tomorrow’s National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush. I am issuing an executive order to close all state agencies tomorrow in remembrance of President Bush. bit.ly/2QeDSF2 #WV #WVGov

President George H. W. Bush was a great man, a great public servant, and a brave soldier and veteran; he will be missed by all. Cathy and I send our prayers and condolences to the Bush family and ask all West Virginians to join with us.
