this was in 2007. i think this episode was a few years ago but still a good amount of time. decade or more maybe. they kept his bank/phone accounts open. never a hit. not once. my gut says he died by suicide or an accident bc manic....

but his family's comments on MH irk me, bc they're so smug about "knowing" him so well yet mania, in particular, is hard to manage and can change drastically in diff environments and situations.....ughhh
so many ppl talk about fighting for a better life and then if you don't fight to change it then ofc nothing will change and that's on you and your want/will to be better. but that invalidates SO MANY ppl simply trying to survive each day....

personally, i'm not yet to the point i can really be better, move forward. i'm still doing my best just to survive. that alone is valid. for anyone. for any amount of time.
