My tag line used to be “Good People and Sound Money go where they are treated well”. It’s still something I try to remember. I got into “Web 3” back in 2020. I think I Qualify as a “Knowing the Space” and clearly “We’re all gonna make it” was NOT true. LOL! On this journey, I’ve evolved into several variations of what I excel at / realized what I suck at. Also on this journey, I have met some AMAZING ppl that I generally think of as friends. Soooo many…. Too many to list them all… but this one guy I met long ago literally shares my birthdate, Irish bloodline, passion for physical fitness, and poor choices in relationships. LOL!!! This space is maddening / interesting at the same time. It’s been over 6 years of grinding it out waiting for WEB 3 to be “Inevitable”. Like many of you likely, I should of got out in late 2021, but I genuinely do Love the space, and especially the comradery of the people I’ve met in it. I have hit a few homeruns, and struck out a TON. I’m addressing you all today, because I’m making a change to what I am doing. Gamers Galaxy will always be here in some form. It’s a place for everyone to hang out. It was originally created by Rubick as a Web 3 gaming platform. I took over completely about a year ago and changed the course of no longer being immutable exclusive. A year ago, Raven Quest was our main game. We were running every night late into the night / day. The the voice channels were 20 plus deep at times. Soooo Many hilarious memories. I have come to a point of not waiting for Web 3 to come back. Will It ever? Yes I do think it to be so. Someone is going to solve this…. There is too much money potential if someone can crack the code. I turn 50 next February and my clock is ticking. I don’t have time to wait for Web 3. I’ve given Web 3 my time, money, and talents in any way I can for over 6 years. I gained some VALUABLE friends, lessons, and experiences along the way. But….. For now… I’ve decided to somewhat pivot away from Web3 and focus on other community building adventures. Golf with Friends really opened my eyes to what this place can be. I’ll always be open to Web 3 games if it makes sense, but the growth potential for Gamers Galaxy numbers wise seems to be capped if I continue to just do Web3. I still am going to play Raven Quest as long as my friends are, but I wont be playing it as much as I used to. I want to be CLEAR though…. The place is STILL OPEN TO WEB 3 for anyone here. I’m just going to focus MY own efforts elsewhere for now. This being said, I’m going to be taking a hiatus from Ranting Raven Spaces for a while. The Team is more than welcome to carry it on if they choose to. If not we will shut it down for the time being. We have done FIFTY EIGHT episodes, mostly for Raven Quest. That is INSANE….. For ZERO dollars and with little support from Games we talk about. The panel has been AMAZING and it just kept getting better and better. I 100% believe we have a QUALITY product, just in the wrong space to grow it. The content we put out generates 1000’s of dollars in other atmospheres. Community / Comradery goes a long way with games / content. We have that all day long. The point of all this is I HAVE TO GROW / WE HAVE TO GROW. I appreciate EVERYONE that has always supported Ranting Raven and this Gamers Galaxy Community. I know each and everyone of you and I know who usually shows up. This is not me going away / giving up, I’m just reshuffling my focus to get more people in here…. I have to. I’m not getting younger and I am no Sydney Sweeny! So this is not a goodbye, just a Ross and Chandler “Pivot” moment for One “W”, One “T”. The doors are open here Web3 and Non Web 3 and all you AMAZING ppl.
