Hotel workers at 8 of 46 Chicago hotels where contracts have expired have walked out on strike incl Hyatt, Hilton, Westin, Waldorf Astoria & Millennium Knickerbocker. Hyatt workers say strikebreakers are being brought in from other hotels and states to continue operations.

After multiple attacks this year, from Lloyds debanking us to former employees spreading malicious lies on social media, the situation has become unsustainable, both financially and operationally. Since the rise in long-term bond yields (interest rates) which began in the middle of last month, when the yield on the benchmark 10-year US Treasury passed 5 percent, the issue has been when this will start to hit the stock market and particularly the AI boom.
