Our Vashon Island ferries will be JAM PACKED this weekend. The community’s berry fun, annual Strawberry Festival is happening, and it brings thousands of visitors. For a sweet ride, we recommend festivalgoers walk on at Fauntleroy/Southworth/Point Defiance if they can.

@WSPHSD personnel will be conducting training @wsferries Eagle Harbor facility TODAY!
Please expect to see an increase in @wastatepatrol vehicles and personnel in the area and on the water near the facility. Please don’t be alarmed!
We had to say goodbye to one of our prospective K9’s today. K9 Lily had tons of energy and was fun to work with but didn’t quite have what it takes to be one of our Explosive Detection K9’s. She will be returned to our vendor and rehoused from there. She will be missed!
#YourWSP started an Explosives Detection K9 class last week. The new handlers begin with basic skills absent the K9’s in order to learn the correct positioning and motions when conducting searches. Stay tuned to see our K9 candidates over the next few weeks!

Expect crowds. You will likely have to wait hours to get on your desired sailing. Pack your patience. Arriving early & leaving late will minimize wait times.
