Tuesday night's rocket launch from Wallops Island may be seen this far inland. Look for a vapor trail in the southeastern sky a couple minutes after launch time!

I've been asked a lot about the storm in Thaxton this past Saturday. Tough to tell from radar imagery whether or not a tornado hit. Rotation was minimal, but this was also a storm that popped up within minutes. If one did occur, maybe it happened in between radar scans?

Storms Monday will be spotty and mostly in areas east of US 220. Humidity levels drop late Monday into Tuesday, setting us up with a very comfortable middle of the week!
