As long as your hay is balanced and provides enough nutrients/calories it’s totally fine!! The majority of mine are on alfalfa/grass hay only, with mineral blocks or lick buckets provided.

I strictly -just- ride in my Hyer boots (they’re western though lol) then I immediately change into my Skechers. I’ve had these since prob November? They’re my every day shoe. They’re so comfortable

It’s always weird to me when I see people castrating their 4 month old because he’s play mounting his mom or other mares. Like he can’t even reach her and he’s prob not even dropped out lolol. They’re just playing 🤣🤣

My first whippet boy tore his up chasing a RC car on the pavement way back in the day 😭 he wasn’t as bad as yours it sounds like though!
I think I’ve definitely done dumber things, but taking my green cowhorse to the NRCHA Hackamore Classic when I’ve only shown him down the fence 3 times and NEVER shown him in the herdwork is higher up on the list than I’d like to admit. It’s also my very first NRCHA show, yolo ✌🏼

There were some good ones! Saddle House, CR, two tack trailers outside and Hannah’s plus all the normal ones that are usually there.
I sat on the fresian that hasn’t been ridden in four years and she didn’t kill me. Yay 🎉 @tobianosandtea
