Important stance, well done and thanks
I may not agree with every headline, but I do believe in protecting our free press. I was shocked to hear from the @dailyecho that they are facing a rise in unfounded legal threats in an attempt to stop them publishing certain articles. Today I raised this issue in Parliament.

Thrilled to say I will be spending more time covering the countless tales from Southampton Crown/Magistrates' Court as the @dailyecho's new court + crime reporter.
Expect in-depth reports, extra unreadable shorthand, and photographing criminals who try but fail to flee my lens.
Congratulations to @_UoW students @mollykeanemedia and @guynicklinson7 on your nomination - best of luck at the award ceremony this weekend!
