Cracking game of Chain of Command this afternoon…. A British Section secured the obj, only to be forced off and broken during the Final Countdown, with the Germans racing on to hold it. But… a final British push at game end forced them back to leave it abandoned.

Last night’s game of What A Tanker! Homebrew scenario required the British to escort a Humber transporting a reconnaissance officer through a German stronghold…#whatatanker #spreadthelard
Had a good game yesterday. A friend and I were getting to know the rules so did mission 1 - I think we need to work on movement to avoid gun lines firing, maybe using vehicles to mix it up a little and really using all the command point options etc to help fire and move. Good fun

Cato and Macro are returning to Rome, so what next…? #historicalfiction
Table down and new one set up for an upcoming game of Chain of Command. Bit different this one…

So I had a couple of games of WAT with my lad (he loved it). The additional buildings def helped with immersion and the need to move around the board more. Be good to add some house rules to aid movement and close range to hit modifier for under 6. #spreadthelard
After yesterday’s game of What A Tanker I thought I’d set up a table to have a go with my lad over the weekend…
First game with What A Tanker tonight! 4 tanks each with a fairly open table made for a good game! I think some built up areas will make it a bit more dynamic, but lots of fun still had. Rules are pretty easy to pick up. Defo play it again.
At the #thehundred Eliminator at the Oval and you can’t buy a shirt for the two teams in the game! #hundred continues to do odd things!
Gangs of Rome doesn’t get half as much love or attention as it does. Great little system - streamlining and engaging for both players.
