Earlier this month, we hosted author @IdraNovey as part of the @WHInteraction. And, for the first time ever, we took WHIS on the road! Idra flew in to visit three other local high schools: @deerlakessd, @FCASD, and @HighlandsSD.

A historical marker celebrating Thomas Bell's novel "Out of This Furnace," which is centered on the steel industry in Braddock, was unveiled Thursday thanks to efforts from high school library media specialist Kevin McGuire and community partners.
