BREAKING: Five-star guard LJ Smith is reclassifying from 2027 to 2026, multiple sources tell VFTSP.
He’ll join the team within days.
Ohio State now has two of its eight highest rated players EVER on this year’s team.
There is absolutely ZERO reason not to play @tchat04 and @MathieuGrujicic moving forward. They can create offense and probably most gifted off bench.
Bench went 1-4 for 2 points and 12 fouls.
We have enough data points to look at other options now consistently. Has to change.
Frustration is at an all time high with this program. Stuck in neutral if not descending - no true backing from the higher ups. Coach who isn’t good in game and X’s and O’s and undisciplined players vs two eh non con opponents and lucky to split. Sad to see what it’s become.
Just a brutal showing. Brutal. I’m not even joking I’d do a players only meeting to nip this right there. Defense and rebounding is one thing and will / should improve but laziness effort at times and mental is a completely different thing. Diebler needs to stress that quickly.

6’5 German wing Mathieu Grujicic has committed to Ohio State for the 25-26 season, per @rupertfabig
Grujicic averaged 13.6 PPG, 2.7 RPG and 3.5 APG for FC Barcelona’s U18 roster in ANGT this year while shooting 40.3% from 3
Ohio state adds much needed shooting to their roster
See if we can wait on decision next couple days / stick to big fish ( Watkins, Luis, Claude)
Then can fall back to euro or role guy.
Got the NIL for it and still a need with opportunity.
Have to
Decline the Crown.
Start fundraising, tampering, and recruiting NOW. Need an influx of money as our only hope to get a tournament team next year. Going to expect turnover / should encourage guys to hit it. Mobley, Royal, White, Bruce (if he wants) should be it. Start hunting.
Season is over. Another missed March, a loss you can’t come back from.
Embarrassing to see with the season on the line and just feels like a never ending black hole we can’t get out of.
Being there was electric and should be the standard every game.
Curious why Ques got a DNP after being our best guard in the first half and Ivan knowing we got outboarded by 15.
We got 4 guys that contribute offensively: need Bradshaw, Stewart, Ques, Ivan to contribute on O
Bench: 2-8 for 6 points
Bigs (mahaffey / Royal / Ivan / Bradshaw / Stewart): 4-13 for 11 points
That will dictate record coming down the stretch.
Can’t rely on 3 guys to be on every game. Win Washington and Northwestern where Sunday could be a win and your in type feel.
Massive massive win. Some breathing room finally when it comes to tournament picture. Juni 3 point breakout game loading Sunday.
Embarrassing how every game an announcer talks about our lack of environment. Administration failing this program. Our fanbase / student body failing as well. No juice from anyone in such a big game.
Control our own destiny regardless but a win tomorrow really makes you feel comfortable about dancing given the rest of schedule. Front court has to contribute on both ends to get it done. Need production.
