First responders save lives and care for our communities in the most challenging moments. It was a honor to join with my colleague @RepBare to present Chief Ellickson and the Cross Plains Area EMS with a citation recognizing their 2025 Excellence in Service Award from @WEMSA.
Wisconsin flags will be flown at half-staff this Sunday, May 3rd, in honor of firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty, as part of National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend.

ALT 1. Streamlined Process: Unneeded steps and questions have been eliminated, streamlining the recertification process to make it faster and more convenient than ever before.
ALT 2. Simplified Questions: We have removed several questions regarding Continuing Education from the application. This change enables you to input your educational information more quickly and effortlessly.
ALT 3. Improved Import Tools: CAPCE and the National Registry partnered together to improve the CAPCE Import Tool. Courses will now automatically assigned to the correct domain.
The 2025 Funding Assistance Program application period is now open, offering in supplemental funding for EMS providers—including EMR departments this year! Applications are due by 4 PM on November 7th. Apply at dhs.wisconsin.gov/ems/fap.ht…
