WEDS strongly supports the Black Lives Matter movement. We stand with protesters fighting for the rights of the Black Community, who are disproportionately and unfairly affected, by the pandemic and in many areas of life.
It’s all too easy for people in the UK to think this is a US problem. It’s not. The UK also has a problem with systemic anti-black racism.
To folks who, like us, advocate for inclusion in tech - you can’t create this if you don’t actively support Black people’s rights in wider society.
Now’s the time to make your voice heard.
