WE-Change Ja showed up and showed OUT in pink! On October 25, 2026, we joined hundreds at Emancipation Park for the WE-Change Ja Pink Run-running, walking, dancing, laughing, and taking up space for women's health. From the start line with pink balloons to aerobics in the park, to hugs, selfies, and our team repping  "Run for the Cause. Run for Community." Awareness matters because breast cancer affects all of us. When we run together, we remind each other to check, to get screened, to support our sisters in treatment, and to never face it alone. Thank you to everyone who ran, cheered, and wore pink with purpose! Tag us in your Pink Run pics! Who did you spot?

TRUE or FALSE: Breast Cancer Edition  When it comes to breast cancer, myths can do real harm. They can give us a false sense of security or stop us from getting checked when we should. Knowing the facts helps you take charge of your health and Dr. Miller is here to separate fact from fiction. Tell us, how many did you get right? 👇

What happens when we uphold the very systems that harm us? Patriarchy can show up in our relationships, our communities and the expectations we place on each other. Being queer does not automatically mean we have unlearned control, rigid gender roles or the belief that someone must hold power over someone else. This is an invitation to reflect, without blaming people for their own oppression. What have we been taught to accept, and what are we willing to challenge? Our liberation calls us to question the power we experience and the power we exercise. 💛

Rape Culture 101 TW: Sexual violence. .A student was drugged and gang-raped at a Cornell University fraternity party in 2024. She went to campus police, Title IX and the health clinic. Two years later, her case is only now being taken seriously. 7 accused. ~50 in the chat. Seven men are accused of assaulting her. About 50 fraternity brothers were reportedly in the group chat where one of them announced she was “free.” Legal experts say the people in the chat can’t be charged but that doesn’t make them innocent. Silence is a choice and rape culture needs more than the men who commit the act.

Jamaica’s Sexual Harassment Act became law in 2021, and institutions were expected to put prevention and protection policies in place.Does your school have one? Do you know where to report? More importantly, would you feel comfortable enough to report it? Do you think the correct flow of consequences would follow?

old our universities accountable. Hold rapists accountable. Hold the ones who stand by and watch it happen accountable too.

Reproductive justice is about more than reproductive rights. It is about choice, dignity, autonomy, and the conditions we need to live and thrive. 💜 Coined in 1994 by Black women activists, the reproductive justice framework reminds us that our rights cannot be separated from the social, economic, and political realities that shape our lives. Through the work of SisterSong and generations of Black feminist organisers, reproductive justice continues to challenge us to think beyond access to healthcare and consider what it truly means to have control over our bodies, our futures, and our families. In Jamaica and across the Caribbean, this means confronting the barriers that prevent women, LGBTQIA+ people, and marginalised communities from making decisions about their bodies safely and freely. On November 28, 2026, WE-Change Jamaica will host our Sexual and Reproductive Health Festival and Fair, creating space for health education, free screenings, wellness activities, meaningful conversations, and community connection. Join us as we continue exploring what reproductive justice looks like in practice and how we can build healthier, safer, and more informed communities. What does reproductive justice mean to you? 💜
