250 years ago, a Navy was born - forged in the fight for freedom, built to defend a nation, and ready to meet every challenge since. ⚓️
From wooden ships to nuclear carriers, from signal flags to satellites - the U.S. Navy stands ready on every horizon.

June 12, 2025, is now Women Veterans Day in Washington.
It struck me that the women veterans I met while signing the proclamation earlier this week are still finding ways to serve. I deeply appreciate the impact they’re making for folks across Washington.
CJ’s shirt said it best: “My mom is not just a veteran – she's my hero.”
I welcome all Washingtonians to join me in celebrating the contributions of women veterans to the progress of our country and state on Women Veterans Day.

We need the help of all Washingtonians, and I urge everybody to raise awareness of the support services that are available for suicide prevention.
Together, we must encourage those in need to reach out for help, hope, and community.
Washington State is committed to fighting suicide among service members, veterans, and families. Watch Gov. Ferguson's overview video and learn how to help!
