“Oh…” He blinked, surprised as the straw materialised in front of his eyes, but he leaned in to taste the boba tea to please Cas.
“Mmh.” He nodded, smiling. “Since when are you so obsessed with human food?”

There was still a part of Dean that loved nothing more than the open road in his Impala. No destination, no plan, just some random city in a random state.
He decided to crash in one of the smaller towns, in a small hotel, and that’s when he noticed the circus in town - posters and flyers scattered across the streets catching his eye.
Dean took a deep breath, then let it out slowly, his hands lifting to fold across his chest.
The words stirred unease- and guilt.
Everything Dean had ever sung about was exactly that, and somehow people had connected to it, enough to build such a massive fanbase.
He thought of every single one of them. Of all the fans he’d met. Of those who wanted to be like him, who told him his music had saved their lives.
We don’t talk. Dad’s always been a tough man. He hunts… demons like you, that sort. He was obsessed, and I get it, we lost my mom, but I needed my dad. I wanted a normal life. I ran away.. and I left my younger brother with him.
There. Hit me with your mean words.
He crouched down so she wouldn’t have to tiptoe, matching her height, brow raised.
“You met....Sam? Are you some little demon?” he joked, smiling, though he couldn’t imagine how else she would have crossed paths with a hunter like Sam.
