I've stood in mosques, churches and synagogues across my district, honoring the families who welcomed me. That's what public servants do. Bruce Blakeman mocked Governor Hochul for showing that same respect and called it a costume. That's bigotry, plain and simple. This weekend I co-hosted South Asians for Hochul, and our community is galvanized. On Nov 3, we answer with our votes.

Great to see Governor @KathyHochul connecting with our South Asian community in #ValleyStream. While Blakeman chooses to criticize expressions of cultural and religious respect, we’re celebrating the diversity.

Bruce Blakeman needs to stop using the Black community as a prop. His record: • Refused to honor Juneteenth. • Called Hot 97’s Summer Jam a “public nuisance.” • Sued displaced Black seniors over emergency housing costs. • Stayed silent on Haitian TPS. We see the pattern.

I stood with the seniors of 1888 Foster Meadow Lane after floodwaters left them homeless. Blakeman's answer was a lawsuit, not relief. He has no plan to keep seniors or the middle class in Nassau. New York can't afford him.
