But now I need to tell you about my #PortageandMain experience. It was just after 9:00 pm last Thursday. I am a 40-something 6 foot tall male. When I got to the underpass, I looked behind me to see if I was being followed and then asked myself, Is it safe to go down there?

Winnipeg: 1.4 million car trips per day - 32% of total emissions. 170,000 transit trips per day - 0.8% of total emissions. 8x more car trips than transit trips. 40x more emissions from cars than transit.
