Just the best year of Irish golf you could possibly imagine. Rory wins the Masters, Irish Open, Lowry holes the winning putt at the Ryder Cup. Doesn’t get much better than that

In light of recent events & planned protests in many of our towns tonight, we would like to remind our followers that the GAA is a place for all. That includes all communities, ethnicities, religion and nationalities.
Gaels have been immigrating across the world for over 100 years & the countless GAA clubs across the globe are testament to this.
Across our own county we have players, members & fans from many different nationalities & ethnicities, many of whom follow our page, we are proud to have you in the Orange & White.
We would encourage all our followers to look out for eachother, especially those in our minority groups.
There’s no place for this in our community or in our county.
Stay safe,
Ard Mhacha Abu

The significance of winning a grand slam in golf can be gauged by the fact that only one player, Tiger, had managed it in 59 years. Each Major requires different skills and to achieve that milestone makes you a ‘complete’ player as well as a mentally strong one - well done Rory☘️

Proud to be getting things done in a classroom for 22 years. Maybe there are too many teachers in the Dail. But there are certainly too many motor mouth multi millionaires with disproportionate influence that are given platforms by those that should know better.
Last night Fine Gael minister Peter Burke had Michael O’Leary (yes that one) launch his election campaign in Mullingar.
The sheer hypocrisy to have him on stage whinging about government wasting money at a government TD’s event. 😂😂😂
Fine Gael don’t care about the working class. That’s evident. And Mr. O’Leary (who’s worth about a billion euro, fair play to him) certainly doesn’t either.
Insults to teachers, left-wing parties, you name it he said it.
And then to top it all off, he made it abundantly clear that Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil are two cheeks of the same arse by telling people to transfer between FG and FF.
This is who Fine Gael are.

The Fine Gael crowd in the video laughing along at the expense of teachers and cheering O'Leary's comments show that many in FG do agree with his views on public servants.
On @thisweekrte - @FineGael outgoing minister
@peterburkefg says he "absolutely" does not agree with Ryanair's Michael O'Leary when he said at his launch that he wouldn't employ too many teachers if he wanted to get something done. @rtenews 1/2
