I’m Bob Freeman, and since 2018, I have had the great honor of serving as District 56’s State Representative.
From protecting public education to advocating for reproductive health access and responsible gun safety reform, my work reflects our community’s shared vision.
Thank you to the voters of District 56 for the privilege to continue serving as your State Representative. These past six years have been the honor of a lifetime and I'm excited to get back to work.
This opportunity would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of each and every supporter who dedicated their time during this summer to knock on doors, reach out to their friends, and join Team Freeman at the polls. I am truly humbled by the outpouring of support.
This morning, Rachel and I proudly cast our ballots in the Democratic Primary for House District 56.
For six years, I’ve had the honor of serving our district. Today, I’m asking for your vote so I can continue working towards a brighter future for our state.
Thursday is primary Election Day!
If you haven't already, make a plan with your friends and family to vote on August 1st between 7 am & 7 pm.

Such a great day so far attending picnics and parades across District 56. Thank you for your trust, your support, and your dedication to building a brighter future for our country and state.
Wishing you a safe and happy Fourth of July!
I’m proud to have signed my name on over 100 successful pieces of legislation in my time serving District 56.
This session, that includes HB1870 which requires that bartender training include curriculum on sexual assault and harassment.
I’m extremely proud to have carried this legislation and grateful for @NashvilleSAC and Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence for their work.
Reverend James Lawson served as an inspiration to all of us across Tennessee, especially within the Nashville community.

His fight for justice and strong advocacy for non-violent protest led Nashville to become the first major city in the South to desegregate its downtown and inspired generations of leaders to come.
Join us for the Team Freeman Phonebook Party, this Thursday, June 13th for a perfect opportunity to get involved, connect with the campaign, and gain confidence in engaging with voters!
