Applications are officially OPEN for the BWEL Mentoring Program! 💗💜
Leadership was never meant to be a journey we walk alone. The Black Women Education Leaders Mentoring Program is creating intentional space for women to learn, connect, grow, and belong while building relationships that strengthen leadership across education.
Whether you are ready to receive mentorship or prepared to pour into another woman as a mentor, there is a place for you in this community.
✨ Mentees: Gain guidance, expand your network, strengthen your leadership skills, and explore what’s next.
✨ Mentors: Share your wisdom and experience, invest in another woman’s journey, and help shape the next generation of Black women leaders in education.
Our year-long experience includes mentor-mentee connections, leadership development opportunities, quarterly check-ins, and ongoing support.
📅 Applications are open now through Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
Scan the QR code on the flyer to apply and select Mentor or Mentee when completing your application.
Amplify. Edify. Elevate.
Growing through connection. Leading with purpose. 💗

I grew up watching What's Happening and followed their characters and testimonies after the series finale. I always loved the strength and spunkiness portrayed in the character Dee Thomas by Dr. D. Spencer.
May your work speak for you!
The rebuilding of Fox Elementary School required collaboration. Thank you to the City of Richmond, our Fire Department, local and state officials, our Superintendent and our entire construction team for the work completed to arrive at this point. It was a great day!
