Voluntaryist, agorist, government should be voluntarily funded, taxation is theft. Quarantining sick people is for health, quarantining well people is tyranny.

Forcing individuals to sacrifice "for the greater good" is how you destroy a society. You can only build a healthy community if you pursue the individual good 1st. Sacrifice has to be voluntary on an individual level in order for the greater good to be ultimately served

On top of this, the govt just prints money and deflates the currency either way. So what's the point of taxes? Get rid of the IRS completely. The govt is a gluttonous parasite on the people

That’s the point. They don’t want you to have generational wealth, to have a home to pass down, to truly own your life. They want you to be a poor slave afraid of their boot forever

I am shocked at how many people think it’s actually a good thing that you can never rest in your well earned, paid off home No, this is not the “price of living in a good society,” it’s the price of being a slave. They take taxes from you at every corner, in every way, and you think they need you to pay them more to keep your home? No. They piss your money away and then hold a gun to your head and make you give them more because true freedom is never actually on the table
Just going to say it: this is unpatriotic. Pay your taxes. Support your schools and fire department. Think about your community, Do the right thing. You don’t stop being an American just because you retire.

But you're not supposed to mention that. 🤫 All states took secession for granted, from the entity they themselves created. States hate secession (for obvious reasons), but it should be recognized as a basic right of any group. Perhaps in a more enlightened future, it will be.

Secession was not a southern idea. Northern states threatened secession at least 5 times during America’s first 60 years: 1. The first time came in George Washington’s presidency when Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton warned that the Northern states would secede unless the Federal Government agreed to assume an obligation to pay off their Revolutionary War debts.  2.In 1803, New Englanders threatened secession over the Louisiana Purchase. They worried that the new territories would ultimately become new states thereby reducing New England’s influence.  3. In 1807, New England again threatened secession after America announced a trade embargo, hoping to avoid the War of 1812, by use of economic sanctions. 4. When the British finally blockaded New England during the last seven months of the thirty-month war, the region held a convention in Hartford to discuss secession or other steps to protect their interests from Federal powers. 5. As late as 1844, leaders in the Northeastern states threatened to secede over the proposed annexation of Texas.

Our future is at best balkanization. Governors will have to nut up and tell those who seek to pack the SCOTUS, give DC statehood, and neuter the 2nd Amendment to pound sand. Our government has gained too much power the Constitution never allowed. It has to be put back in its box.

The government didn’t create flying cars. Elon did. You aren’t owed any reparations. The color of your skin means nothing. You aren’t a slave. You were never a slave. The only slavery you have experienced is the Democrat plantation you refuse to get off of in your own mind. Your victim and entitlement mentality is what keeps you enslaved to a false reality. Free yourself.

I am a conservative Christian and, when you strip away the noise, a single-issue voter. I don't blindly pledge allegiance to any political camp, but when it boils down to the ballot box, I vote against the mentally ill Skittles army at all costs! Nothing has acted as a bigger cultural virus than the incessant, in-your-face pandering to the rainbow lobby in our communities and classrooms. This isn't about simple acceptance anymore, it’s an obsessive recruitment campaign pushing a lifestyle I consider completely perverse! Look: if you want to sword fight with the boys or flick the bean with the girls in your private life, that’s on you. But the exact second the public marketing campaign begins, that is where the line is crossed. 🛑 So this November, I will be voting Yes on Amendment 3 because I don't want my tax dollars going to woke police departments that can't seem to worry about protecting the communities they serve without offending the majority of people of faith who live in them. 🚓 I’m voting straight against any Democrat who thinks pride stickers and sexually explicit, illustrated graphic books belong anywhere near our kids' schools, or that trans flags should ever fly outside government buildings. 🚫 Socially, keep what you do behind closed doors and I could care less. Spiritually, it's a one-way ticket to hell, and you're not going to scalp tickets to my family on my tax dollar. 🖕🌴🔥

A reminder that the National Firearms Act was the direct result of our federal government passing Prohibition and getting murked in return by the citizenry to the point they were forced to repeal it. That was the turning point. That's when they realized government actually has no power to pass laws the voters don't agree with, lest they face armed rebellion. Look how things have changed since. Our modern government and political class are not afraid of you any more, so they do whatever they want. Make politicians afraid again.

I am not voting in November to reward the republicans. I am not voting for the republicans because I like the republicans. I am not voting for the republicans to keep the republicans in power. I am voting in November, for the Republicans, to keep the democrat party out of power. Till November of 2028, that is enough. After the November midterm...that is when we punish and replace every Republican Senator that we can....but only if their replacement can beat the democrat. ==============

In 2021, the head of the UN World Food Programme said $6 billion from Elon Musk could solve world hunger. Elon replied: publish the plan, right here, publicly, and I'll sell Tesla stock on the spot. The plan came out. And when you read it, it wasn't a plan to solve hunger. It was one year of food for 42 million people. A twelve-month subscription. And the year after? Start over. A few months later, Elon summed up his view: if you care about the reality of goodness rather than the perception of it, philanthropy is extremely difficult. "Reality of goodness over perception of goodness." That line stuck with me for weeks. Does philanthropy actually work? Gates-style philanthropy is first and foremost institutional capture. Foundations funding NGOs, funding governments, funding programs, producing reports, producing photos. Everyone's happy, and the aid machine keeps itself alive. Sixty years and hundreds of billions later, much of Africa is still dependent on aid. Zambian economist Dambisa Moyo laid it out in Dead Aid: aid breeds dependency, feeds corruption, and short-circuits the only mechanism that has ever lifted a country out of poverty. So what actually works? It's been tested. In Kenya, Berkeley researchers working with GiveDirectly randomly selected villages and gave every poor household about $1,000 in cash. No program. No training. No conditions. Just cash. The result: people bought metal roofs, livestock, started small businesses. Barely any inflation. And every dollar injected generated around $2.50 of economic activity locally, including for neighbors who received nothing. Why? Because you didn't give them charity. You gave them capital. You primed the pump. And that's where everything hinges: ownership. Hernando de Soto showed that the world's poor hold trillions of dollars in assets, but without recognized property titles, it's dead capital. You can't borrow against it, pass it on, or grow it. Where property rights are respected, the system starts running. Where they aren't, no amount of aid will ever be enough. Now reread Elon's post. "Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every kid in America. This will be the first of many." That's not a meal. That's not a handout. That's a property title. A piece of the company building the infrastructure of a multiplanetary civilization, owned directly by millions of kids. A kid who gets a handout depends on the state. A kid who owns a share of SpaceX owns a piece of the future. He learns what an asset is, he has a stake in the economy working, and one day he'll vote as an owner, not as a client of the state. Gates buys perception. Musk distributes ownership. The reality of goodness versus its perception. And it's absolutely brilliant.
Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every kid in America. This will be the first of many.
