I’m late to the party but I have to say, before these titles get set in stone, I believe it would be best for the 1v1 and 2v2 World Champion Titles to say 1v1/2v2 World Champion.
Winning a World Championship in either of those game modes is not the same as winning in 3v3.

This was always the right thing to do, everyone deserves it outside of Content Creators and Pros.
We tried something new with Dev Boost, and it led to a poor match experience and was hard for the global community to participate in. We want this to be a fun reward that anyone can earn, so Dev Boost is now a Free Tier 99 reward in the Season 24 Rocket Pass.
Dev Boost is no longer granted by winning with or against a developer.
SSG’s defense was rough for the most part. Falcons had better control on the 50’s and not overcommitting on plays they shouldn’t. It was a grand final won by smart decision making and positioning. Falcons killed it.

You have to think about the general playstyle of 2’s mains and how that transitions into their 3’s gameplay. 2’s mains are harder to play with in 3’s because they aren’t used to 3v3 rotations. From how I see it, that’s playing 3rd man more often, especially with duo queuers.
I always knew 3v3 had more value than the pro scene let on. It teaches you how to play with 3 players instead of 2 and how to position in certain 3v3 scenarios you don't get when playing 2's. Not learning this puts you at a certain level of disadvantage in 3v3 rlcs.
