⚡ Lighthouse (incorrectly) punishes preloading
If you’re like me, you probably struggled with Lighthouse scores at least once. “I already optimized everything; why is my score still yellow?”
Often, the cause is there’s more to optimize. But sometimes, it’s Lighthouse itself.

I've made a simple @Framer component using the new phenomenal Workshop tool.👀
It allows me to upload multiple svgs, play them randomly in a sequence and stop the animation when hovering.

REM, now in @framer. Designing responsive typography has never been easier. REM works with Layout Templates, giving you a single place to manage your breakpoints and base values, which can be customized per breakpoint for ultimate control.

From $0 to $100K+ on Contra: How Dylan Did It
(And What You Can Steal)
Most freelancers struggle to break $100K.
@Volagn didn’t just do it—he figured out what actually works (without burning out).
Here’s everything he learned (so you don’t have to):

This is such an amazing full-circle moment on Contra: @Volagn, a verified @framer expert, shared in the #ContraCommunity about an invoice he received from Framer—one of the earliest adopters of Contra membership.🌐
The network is truly networking!

50k badge acquired on @contra 🤑
Earlier this year I started at 3x Contra recommended, never making more than a few thousand dollars online over years. I hope this post motivates your journey and shows that it IS possible and YOU can do it.
I can't wait to see where I go next
I was holding back from publishing this because I didn't want to seem like I was flexing or showing off. My intention isn't any of that, but to inspire and help you.
Thank you for your continuous support, belief in me, kind words, and ofc the people who've given me moneys 💰🙈
More to come, I promise! Videos and content about my process, how I use Contra, and @framer stuffs!

This was a longer reply to @Praha37v asking if there's a @Contra "secret".
Maybe it'll help you too 🙈
Appreciate! And yessir- I reached 19x recommended on Tuesday.
Honestly, it's tons of work! Most people don't realize how much goes into securing opportunities, especially on a growing platform like Contra where naturally it's competitive- FOR NOW. This will get "easier" as Contra keeps scaling. It's already so different from when I joined.
It's 100% doable(proof is me. I started at the beginning of this year with 3x).
I'm planning on put together some video & written content about my process. My goal is to help, inspire, and answer any questions other Contra users might have. It won’t be a "how-to," though—what works for me might not work for everyone.
I wouldn't say there's a "secret". The most important thing(and something we all can do) is to have an optimized profile and show that you have fun while providing solutions to your clients. This can be directly in your Contra Projects, on social media, etc. Fun fun fun!
We’re at a point where clients aren’t always looking for the super-professional/corporate type. Showing you’re a real person with a personality(just like them) is most of the time a huge selling point.
The clients I usually work with are equally collaborative, creative, and happy to be building something TOGETHER. Because this is what is the most FUN, entertaining, and rewarding for me!

So excited to finally share this with the world!

@kearameehan and I are on the final stretch of our first @framer template together! 🎉
We've been on the last steps for weeks, but have both been so busy IRL + work it's taken longer than we wanted.
Better "late" than never 🙈

Woah, look at this awesome @Contra recommendation from THE @erinnhorner 🙈
"I've worked with Dylan on quite a few Framer builds and he is an excellent collaborator. He's always up for tackling new problems with creative solutions and effectively communicating his process along the way. Highly recommend!"
