Iranian media report that indirect Iran US talks are still ongoing through mediators, despite Washington’s reported rejection of Tehran’s latest ceasefire proposal. Qatar is said to remain actively engaged in trying to narrow the gaps between the two sides. - Meanwhile, Iranian channels citing The Guardian say FM Abbas Araghchi plans to remain in New York until Sunday, September 27 (tbc).
