I just started using VoiceOS, and it might change how I use ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Built by just 2 YC founders, it lets you interact with your computer using your voice. What if the future of computing doesn't need a keyboard?

Tried to recreate a reimagine Kurukshetra battlefield 30 seconds, made entirely with AI. Video in @higgsfield_ai with Seedance 2.5, prompts shaped with @VoiceOSApp and @grok. No camera, no crew, no code. Just a chariot with Bhagwan Krishna and Arjun two armies and one choice. (Spot the extra warrior who joins mid-ride 👀) shows the imperfections sometimes

I’m building the world’s best onboarding experience. VoiceOS used to feel like a tool, not an AI companion. Turns out I was wrong. - Making it feel like a companion: +21% retention. - Changing the voice: +36% conversion. Tiny details matter way more than I expected. Anyone down to let me watch you onboard? lmk!

Day 94 — Lost. No post? That would be hypocrisy. If I only post wins, then I am corrupting the whole point of this journey. The point was to document the real path. Maybe there is some version of Ali sitting somewhere in a small town in Pakistan, or anywhere in the developing world, with big dreams and no clear map. If that person only sees wins, trophies, and polished pictures, then I am lying to them. So here is the truth. We lost. I was not even planning to post about it. A part of me said: “Why post this? It does not matter. I won 2 last week, 3 the week before. You will probably win something this week too.” But this loss is still worth recording. I usually try to build the maximum-size team at hackathons because one of my biggest reasons for going is to meet more people. This time, I formed a 6-person team. By the end, only Rahul Ganesan and I were left. We could not agree on an idea until around 2 PM. I also did not have a perfect idea. So I said something like: “Voice is an easy but universally powerful tool. Let’s stop talking for hours and start building something. It may suck. But we will learn, and maybe a better idea will come from motion.” That is usually how I think. Action creates clarity. But maybe I overestimated everyone’s appetite for uncertainty. I started working on one idea because I felt we had to move. Along the way, most of the team drifted away. Usually, I am very comfortable accepting my mistakes after a hackathon. I often message teammates personally when I feel I did not lead well. This time, I still think we had to start doing something instead of staying stuck in discussion forever. But I did make one clear mistake. I took almost a 2-hour break during the hackathon because I had a very important meeting. I thought it would be okay because we had a 6-person team. Apparently, it was not. If I was leading, I should have stayed fully locked in. Or I should have joined as a team member instead of trying to lead a new group. That is on me. Still, I do not regret the decision to work with new people. My optimization is not only winning. It is learning. Meeting people. Testing leadership. Understanding how different people behave under pressure. But the loss still hurts. The person who stayed with me until the end was Rahul Ganesan. His first hackathon. He believed in the process. He stayed. He helped build the product. And even though we did not win, I respect that a lot. Rahul Ganesan Pick another hackathon. Register. Send me the link. I will be on your team. And we will win. This one hurts because I wanted you to experience the win. But maybe this is also part of the journey. I normally tag everyone when I win. This loss also deserves the tag. @ceyhunvarlibas, @LyashchMaxim, Taeyeon Kim, @flowstatediego, @jonah_daian, @DarrylFoong, @inanksm, @a1mobileAI, @convex, @kai_brokering, @Henry_Ndubuaku, Andrey Marey, @egor_kzmv, Mike Rice, Mike Rice, @VoiceOSApp (YC P25)

It really is. I built my own @heyclicky tooling that uses @VoiceOSApp as the foundation and peekaboo for the vision. Sooooo fun and useful.
Codex was debugging a Telegram issue and needed a new token, so it used Peekaboo to open the Telegram Mac app, talked to botfather and just did it. Computer Use is amazing. peekaboo.sh
