This is not going to be of interest to you but Ghost contracts You can call #Algorand contracts that do not exist on chain via simulate. 1) Get the latest round 2) Grab the transaction counter for that round 3) Construct a group where you deploy the contract in the first txn and then call it to return whatever you want. The ghost/simulated contract app ID will be transaction counter + 1. 4) Simulate it, pinned to the round you got in (1) Pictured: 1) code that calls a ghost contract that returns an account balance 2) running it You don't even need funds on chain (or the keys to any accounts that do) but you do need to find a funded address to use in the simulate call - here I'm actually simulating the fee sink "deploying' the ghost contract and calling it to get my balance This enables things like hack tui to evaluate opcodes like "online_stake" on any network Pretty neat
