A @Shopify brand increased conversion rate +7.5% with one change to its sale PDPs:
💰 Adding a “$XX value” badge next to the discounted price.
WHY IT WORKS:
The original price was already there, crossed out.
But when the savings are big, highlighting the value makes the deal feel even better.
Same savings. More attention. Bigger impact.

A @Shopify brand lifted subscriptions +9.8% and CR +6% with one simple PDP change:
👉 Expanding the subscription option without preselecting it.
WHY IT WORKS:
When shoppers can immediately see the subscription benefits:
- Discount
- Free shipping
- Cancel anytime
They're more likely to choose to subscribe.
And the brand wins twice:
1. More orders now.
2. Potentially more repeat customers later.

WHY IT WORKS:
When shoppers have a specific color in mind, they can instantly see all relevant styles.
👉 Faster discovery. Less friction. More sales.

A @Shopify brand increased conversion rate by 5.9% by HIDING one thing:
🎨 Color swatches on mobile collection pages
WHY IT WORKS:
I’ve seen this test win for some brands and lose for others.
Color swatches can make browsing easier.
But sometimes, they just get in the way:
→ Add clutter
→ Push products below the fold
→ Can be hard to tap
PRO TIP:
→ Test swatch size, shape, and display limit.
→ Test new and returning customers separately.
The only way to know what works best for YOUR customers?
Test it.

Micro Scooters knows a thing or two about moving fast 🛴 And so does their e-com team.
Teams like that are exactly who we have in mind when building @Visuallyio:
- A robust but easy-to-use platform
- Highly professional, responsive support.
So they can test fast, learn fast, and scale fast.
That’s why we loved hearing this from Harriet Pottle, Ecommerce Merchandising Manager:
→ “Visually is an amazing and easy-to-use A/B testing tool.”
→ “The team is great to work with and always quick to help.”
→ “We have been using it for a few months and already had some really great results.”
Harriet and team, thank you for the kind words.

Your Email is segmented.
But is your SITE❓
- New customers
- VIPs
- Cart abandoners
All treated differently in your emails.
Then they land on the website and everyone sees the exact same experience.
→ Huge missed opportunity
On September 16, our VP of Growth Marc Adelman is joining Anthony Morgan, CEO of Enavi, for a practical, no-fluff session on:
→ What on-site segmentation should look like.
They’ll show how to turn customer data into on-site experiences that convert.

A @Shopify brand increased email subscribers by 24% with one simple TWEAK.
💰 Put “Get XX% off” in the popup CTA
That’s it.
WHY IT WORKS:
A generic CTA asks for action.
“Get XX% off” gives a reason to act.
→ Clear value
→ Immediate incentive

A @Shopify brand lifted revenue by more than 10% by removing their checkout upsell.
Yes, removing it.
It’s easy to assume that showing one more product at checkout will automatically drive more revenue.
But checkout has a pretty simple job: help the customer finish the purchase.
A large or attention-grabbing upsell near the final CTA can create friction at the wrong moment.
And sometimes, that friction costs more than the upsell makes.
That’s what happened here. The simpler checkout won, with a 10%+ lift in revenue.
So don’t assume an upsell is working just because it’s there. Test it.
With @Visuallyio, you can test different checkout upsells, placements, layouts, and recommendation strategies in minutes.
Would you test removing yours?

→ “allows us to generate tests much faster”
→ “less engineering involvement”

A @Shopify brand lifted CR +5% by changing THI$ in the PDP subscription section:
💰 Showing savings in $ instead of %
That’s it.
WHY IT WORKS:
% can feel abstract. $ feels real.
→ No mental math
→ The savings feel more tangible
PRO TIPS
1) % often wins when the $ saving feels small. Don’t assume. Test both.
2) Test it sitewide, across ALL discount messaging.
3) Find your winner before BFCM.

A @Shopify brand increased CR +6.9% by adding ONE reminder to the cart:
❗That these items might sell out.

WHY IT WORKS:
Shoppers already know things sell out.
But a reminder right above the items they want makes the risk feel real.
→ Creates urgency without a discount
→ Makes buying NOW feel smarter

A Shopify brand lifted CR +10.6% for cart abandoners by adding ONE thing.
💡 A cart reminder on the homepage.
That’s it.
WHY IT WORKS:
Shoppers get distracted.
Showing them their cart items can:
- Remind them what they wanted
- Create a sense of “unfinished business”
- Shorten the path to checkout
Keep intent alive → turn more carts into orders.

A @Shopify apparel brand increased CR +4.8% by adding ONE thing.
The model’s height and size.
That’s it.
WHY IT WORKS:
It answers the biggest question shoppers have:
“How will this look on me?”
- Too short? Too long?
- Too tight? Too loose?
The model’s height + size gives shoppers a reference point to compare against themselves.
Less guessing → more confidence → more sales.

13.3% more revenue and 7,009% ROI 😱
@RevantOptics, the sustainable premium eyewear brand, had a challenge. Their model is different:
They sell replacements, not full products, so
there was no CRO playbook to follow.
And their first A/B testing tool couldn’t keep up.
>> Tests broke after theme updates
>> Experiments became hard to maintain
So they switched to @Visuallyio
>> Stable, Shopify-native experimentation
>> AI-powered test generation in minutes
"Visually helps us replace assumptions with evidence. The platform is so easy to use that we're constantly testing new ways to improve the customer experience."
Kaitlyn Sorensen, Customer Experience Manager at Revant
Together with their @Shopify development partner, Monumental, they built a smart workflow:
Launch no-code tests → build only what works.
Here are a few of Revant's winning tests:
1) PLP: Price anchoring
The biggest reason to choose replacement lenses over new sunglasses? The savings.
So they added a "Save XX%" badge on each PLP.
Result: +18.2% revenue lift
2) PDP: Default color selection
Most shoppers want lenses that match what they already have, not a new look.
So Revant tested preselecting the best-selling lens color for each frame.
Result: +12.2% revenue lift
3) HP: Cart reminder
Returning homepage visitors with items in their cart saw a personalized cart reminder.
Result: +7.6% revenue lift
4) Cart: Compatible frame SKU
Buying replacement lenses can feel risky.
So they showed the compatible frame SKU in the cart, removing the need to head back to the PDP.
Result: +3.9% conversion rate lift
And these are just a few of Revant’s wins.
They constantly test → build what works → stack incremental gains.
"Revant’s team runs its testing program in Visually without developer involvement. When a test wins, Monumental steps in to build it natively into the theme, ensuring only proven ideas are developed."

A @Shopify brand lifted CR +6% by changing its PDP delivery estimate to:
⏰ “Get it as early as tomorrow.”

- Does that lift translate into more profit?
The answers vary by store.
