Safety on the region’s roads is improving 2 years on from the launch of the West Yorkshire Vision Zero Strategy.
The strategy aims to reduce all road deaths and serious injuries to zero by 2040.

If the trial is successful, it could see motorists prosecuted for drug driving offences in the future.

Graduated Driving Licences will save lives so we’re pushing for their introduction locally.
Today Northern Ireland have brought them in and we hope to follow suit.

No child was killed on West Yorkshire's roads during the last 12 months, new figures have shown.
As children return to school this September, West Yorkshire Vision Zero is urging drivers, parents, carers, and communities to help keep that progress going.

Op Snap submissions, where members of the public can send in footage of bad driving to the police, have risen by 10%.
Around 7,500 drivers were held to account for their unsafe behaviour as a result.
