We teach them to say no—and to mean it. Through Vision Rescue’s combat sports and self-defence programme, girls learn more than how to strike or hold a stance. They learn to trust their voice, move with confidence, stay aware, and respond with courage.

Because self-defence is about more than physical strength. It is about building confidence, presence, and the courage to trust themselves.

We asked them about home. This time, we're letting them tell the story. Each child responded with a drawing and words of their own, offering a personal perspective on one familiar word.

When caring for a younger sibling becomes an older sister's responsibility, her own education can quietly take a back seat. That's why our work doesn't stop at the classroom door. Understanding what happens at home is just as important as helping a child return to class.

Every girl deserves the chance to learn without having to choose between her education and her family. 💛

The first page and the last page have quite a story between them. 💛 Every letter, every correction, and every attempt adds up.

This is what sustained learning looks like at our Beacon Learning Centres. Progress that happens gradually, but becomes impossible to miss when you look back. One notebook. Twelve weeks. See the difference for yourself.

He doesn't need to stand out. He deserves to fit in. 💛 A uniform lets a child enter the classroom without his family's financial circumstances being the first thing others notice. It's one less barrier between him and the education he deserves.

At Vision Rescue, even something as simple as a uniform is part of creating a learning environment where children feel included and valued. To partner with us, click the link in our bio.

A better tomorrow is built through the choices we make today. This Gandhi Jayanti, we remember Gandhiji and reflect on the values of truth, compassion, & non-violence. May we continue to build a future where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, & live with dignity.

In a small home, every bit of space has a purpose. So when a family sets aside one shelf just for a child’s books, notebooks, and school things, it may look ordinary—but it says something important. It says her learning has a place here.

For families living with limited space and resources, supporting a child’s education is often made up of decisions like this: protecting time to study, keeping school materials safe, and making room for learning within everyday life.

At Vision Rescue, we know that sustaining a child’s education doesn’t happen in the classroom alone. It happens at home too, in the choices families make day after day. One shelf. Hers. And a family saying, quietly, that her education matters.

15 bank accounts opened. And with them, 15 families took an important step towards greater financial access and security. For 15 BLC parents, this initiative meant receiving support to complete the KYC process and open their own bank accounts.

She is learning something no one in her family before her had the chance to learn. 📚💛 For a first-generation learner, every day in the classroom brings something new. And behind her is a family determined to give her the opportunities they never had.

Look closely. This page holds more than handwriting. It holds effort met with attention. A child put their learning on the page, and a teacher cared enough to read every word, guide every mistake, and encourage the next attempt. That is what being taught can feel like.

A game, a race, a laugh—and a coach cheering them on. ⚽💛 Through the Sports Program, coaches lead warm-ups, organise games, teach teamwork, and encourage children to keep trying. Because joy, movement, and learning can all happen together.
