Of course, large foreign reserves dont mean Nigeria is better ...until we dont have it and the same Chike-Obi starts pontificating on the absolute necessity of increasing gross foreign reserves.
These kind of elite cant build a country.
Mustafa Chike-Obi: Large foreign reserves don’t mean Nigeria is better off
Mustafa Chike-Obi, former chairman of Fidelity Bank, says maintaining Nigeria’s $52 billion to $53 billion foreign reserves costs the country more than $10 billion annually.
Chike-Obi spoke on Thursday during an episode of Policy Without Politics, a podcast he host with Ken Ikpe.

See idiot wey wan gaslight 😂😂
You can do bigotry but other tribes can’t do bigotry
Oloshi
Your main target is not Peter Obi but the Igbos.
Suddenly, the Igbos have become your target.
If your target were Peter Obi, I would call it politics. But when your target is the Igbos as a tribe, I call it bigotry.
You have joined the bigotry league, and that is fine. Enjoy your new role with your full chest.
But if you are coming after the Igbos as a tribe, you will fail woefully.

Religion should be highly regulated in Nigeria. This thing has become a serious issue we can no longer afford to ignore.

I don’t want to force anything in life. Not friendship, not love, not opportunities.
I’ll do my part and let the rest reveal itself.
Anyway Fuck You Peter Obi
Aisha, you did not personally condemn the toxic viral post made by Emir Sirdam, yet you spoke with passion in defending Peter Obi whose intolerant followers have shown no restraint in politicising people’s tragedies.
Aisha, you personally saw nothing wrong with Emir Sirdam’s toxic post but went on lecturing people on why Peter Obi should be excused from the toxic behaviour his Obidients display on this space every hour — something Obi himself tacitly approved.
Does the ‘good governance’ you people claim to be advocating for not involve good moral conduct and being sensitive? You claim you are advocating for a ‘working system’ but you actually want a country where Obidient lunatics would act without restraint in mocking the tragic fate suffered by people to ridicule their political choices, especially when those choices don’t align with the politics of your fraudulent Agulu messiah.
You will play ostrich when Obidient lunatics go off the rails, but go on a whole hug of homily when people come hard on the man who brought up this harmful ideology.
Aisha, what does the Quran say about the traits to observe when recognising Munafiquns? 👀
It is equally horrifying that you would bring Mr Peter Obi into the conversation @akintollgate
To what extent?!
Emir Sirdam is a human being like you with his own agency and you should take him on as one without bringing in Mr Peter Obi.
Gosh!

Without Ojukwu and his military experience Biafra would not have lasted even one month.
You see how ordinary operation Python dance Nnamd Kanu(IPOB) could not even effectively resist it.
Dey mumu dey go.
Replying to @AfricanPatriot_
>In the Biafran war we had plenty of Igbos in the army. We lost. Supplies was the issue.
>You being a "Nigerian Patriot" who believes Nigeria will bring war against Igbo people is hilarious.
>Why would we be trusted within yhe army if our aim to to have better fighting capability

Funny how just like today, Yorubas (as per intellectuals and liberals) were Working against Awo and the interests of the Yoruba as a collective.
Just as some see Yoruba nationalists as bigots today, so was it back then too.
Apparently, some things never change. Someday we will all be gone and this your tweet will either be made about us too or never made.
Posterity will judge all of us.

Once you surrender your borders and sacrifice your identity to accommodate "foreigners" with totally different cultural backgrounds, you do not get a richer society; you get a war zone.
They have nothing good they left back home! They wouldn't hesitate to see your own home too in ruins!
YORUBA wake up!
South West wake up!
Culture vultures are watching!!!

Yoruba is easily one of the most logical groups in Nigeria.
People would have been rushing to relocate Anambra today if PO indeed had a legacy of good governance. Instead, Igbos are relocating enmass to SW.
You can't force us to support a FAILURE. We are not gullible like you

Reverend King, the convicted notorious man of God, is in Kirikiri prison, waiting for the date the Nigerian state will sign his death sentence by hanging, as was pronounced by the Supreme Court, but while the uncertainty about his fate remains, man is still living a larger-than-life image, and his influence has never waned while inside Kirikiri prison.
Despite his brutal crimes and death row status, a loyal group of followers from the Christian Praying Assembly, his church, continues to worship and adore him.
Before he was hauled into prison, women served him food naked.
Followers beaten until they could not move. And then, in the most horrifying act, one of the followers was doused with fuel and set on fire.
And even on death row, the disturbing reports did not stop.
Reverend King was accused of having intense sex with female visitors who visited him in prison and with female prisoners too, allegations serious enough that prison authorities transferred him between facilities multiple times, from Kirikiri to Kuje in Abuja, then to Kaduna, then to Katsina, partly because of the volume of followers, including notable politicians, who kept visiting him for prayers.
One woman later said she had repeatedly had sex with him during these visits, became pregnant multiple times as a result, and had to terminate the pregnancies.
In his own defence, Reverend King reportedly described what he was doing to these women as a method of teaching obedience.
And he has not stopped his larger-than-life status while being held inside Kirikiri prison.
Through all of it, something extraordinary happened.
His church did not abandon him.
Members of the Christian Praying Assembly continued to fill the pews every Sunday.
In a bizarre display of devotion, the Christian Praying Assembly, his church, continues to function, and members still recognize him as their spiritual leader.
The church has even expanded its branches globally during his imprisonment, as they have over 200 branches now.
They read prison letters from him aloud during services, urging the congregation to continue in the faith he had taught them.
When rumors spread that his execution might finally be carried out, church leaders stood at the pulpit and warned that Nigeria would boil if anyone touched their holiness.
His loyal church members continue to run his ministry and adopt his surname, King, in their name, which is compulsory, and they are also mandated to visit him in prison at Kirikiri prison at least once a year.
The visit to Kirikiri is seen as a pilgrimage in Kirikiri to visit the Prophet for his prayers and blessings.
And it does not stop at this
Every year around his birthday (in February), devoted followers regularly pay for prominent, multi-page newspaper advertisements and public billboards across major Nigerian cities celebrating "His Holiness Dr. Reverend King."
This year alone, his members took over 20 pages of the This Day Newspaper to celebrate his birthday.
A page costs more than a million naira, so you can do the calculations.
Religious psychosis is real; I have not seen anything like this before in my life.
I wonder what is stopping Lagos State Governor Sanwo Olu from signing his death warrant because it is long over due.

Best thing about this thread is the originality and individuality of each Gèlè back then. I dislike that infinity pleat style so much. It really took the character out of the art and makes everyone look like an NPC.
