A lot of minority devs are limited in their scope and budget. That being said some great experiences get through like Venba from 2023. The game follows a Tamil speaking Indian kid growing up in Canada struggling to retain his culture. It was a good short and sweet time.

As a Tamizhan and a PlayStation gamer since 2000, playing and platinumming #Venba by @VisaiGames was a very emotional experience for me. The game has so much soul.
I never expected the story to hit me emotionally, but it did.
Excellent Tamil soundtrack by Alpha Something 👏

1/5: Venba from @VisaiGames is a heartfelt game about an Indian family who moves to Canada in the 1980s. It weaves food, memory, and family bonds through traditional recipes that tell emotional stories.

It's our biggest discount yet, so if you haven't picked up Venba yet, this is the best time!

I'm not allowed to post anything revealing from Game 2 so here are some nice pots.
Surely there's nothing I've given away with this right?
Capturing music authentically was very important to us in Venba.
So when @alpha_something was asked to score for an age 2000 years ago, they went the extra mile and ordered a custom Yaazh.
A key musical instrument that we can't wait to use for the game!
Sherveen was an absolute blessing! They got our high concepts into clean and working designs fast & unblocked us when we needed it.
They went above and beyond and got it working in our codebase which was a pleasant surprise!
Highly recommend Sherveen for all your design needs!

Wrapped up #Venba from @VisaiGames today since it's leaving GamePass soon. Fun little game about cooking and a family that immigrates from India to North America. It was interesting learning about foods from another culture!
