Listening to Heather Adams and David Molesky with Rock and Bloom at the @TheChamberYXE Chamber on Tap was inspiring! Key takeaways that included:
- Dig deep to determine the goals; avoid getting stuck on tactics.
- Keep moving forward and trying new things; it doesn't need to be perfect! Having 70% of the information you need is enough to try.
- Engage the whole team when problem-solving. Team members might uncover new ideas when they interact.

There were so many nuggets of wisdom from Chris Sikorsky and Kirstin Meadows with Sik Pics Productions at the recent @TheChamberYXE Chamber on Tap event! Here's what stood out for me:
- If you have experience from different fields, take advantage of building a diverse skill stack.
- If you're starting something new, you can moonlight before jumping in, and you can always go back to what you know if needed.
- Nurture the strengths and differences in partnerships (Chris has crazy ideas, and Kirstin is the voice of reason!).
- Elevate the project in a way your client wouldn't have dreamed of otherwise.
- Have a rainy day fund. What if your biggest client isn't your biggest client any longer?
- Don't say yes to too much.
- In a business partnership that's also a marriage, set boundaries. Don’t start conversations about the business at midnight when you’re trying to fall asleep!
- Get to know your repeat clients and what they like.

"A simple recipe for finding opportunities:
Be pleasant
Ask questions
Engage daily
It's hard for a warm and pleasant person who is asking a lot of questions and engaging in their industry daily to not come across interesting opportunities."

Maybe we had a little too much fun making these website section cards. Maybe we spent too much time hovering over the cards to make this video. Maybe.

This footer design for Women In Leadership for Life from 2015 is still holding up strong! We love designing websites that last.

When we redesigned the @broadwayyxe website in 2021, they came to us with a problem: How to find more than 140 member businesses in more than a dozen different categories.
The solution: an easy-to-navigate map featuring all of their members.

Seizing the opportunity when your competitors are quieter during slow times of the year can be a game changer. In the busy season, you’ll compete for ad space and clicks, but in the slow season, the field is wide open.

Had some fun with micro-interactions on the @BigBlockConst website. We ❤️ Easter eggs and unexpected animations to our website design.
When persuasive writing, getting the reader to take action is what you strive to do. But how exactly can you do that?
