Let me tell you about the Overton window:
A white, middle-aged, middle-class, clergyman in the Church of England, who volunteers with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a radical leftist seeking to bring down Western society.
That is how far it has shifted.

With the heroes of the @RNLI under attack again, I’m reminded of this passage from Bill Bryson.

ALT I had never really stopped to consider what an extraordinary thing the Royal National Lifeboat Institution is. Think about it. A troubled ship calls for help, and eight people - teachers, plumbers, the guy who runs the pub - drop everything and put to sea, whatever the weather, asking no questions, imperilling their own lives, to try to help strangers. Is there anything more brave and noble than that? The RNLI - I looked this up later - is an organization run by volunteers, supported entirely by public donations. It maintains 233 stations around the coast of Britain and averages twenty-two call-outs per day. It saves 350 lives a year on average.
It's simple, they don't arrest the black shirts in the masks because those men are violent and would kick off. It's far easier to arrest the nice lefties with the placards. Have you seen that old vicar? I could arrest her easily!
Today I've decided to skip work, put on a balaclava and block the road into town. I've seen it's fine and I won't be arrested.
I vote Reform and I firmly believe that women should only be assaulted by white, British pensioners.

The next POTUS is a great gig…if they can simultaneously stay awake & not shit themselves while only lusting after adults, then they’ll be fairly well celebrated.

Margaret Thatcher did not 'regenerate the British economy'. She devastated the UK's industrial base, put three million people on the dole and plunged entire communities into the kind of poverty they still haven't recovered from four decades later.

RFK Jr. has discovered that if you describe 1960s cell-culture biology like a Hammer horror film, people may forget to ask what is actually in the syringe.
I am quite familiar with WI-38 cells. I have grown them.
The rubella virus in MMR is grown in WI-38, a laboratory cell line descended from fetal tissue obtained decades ago.
That is not the same thing as saying MMR “contains fetal tissue.”
It does not.
Kennedy then tells you there are “646 billion pieces of human DNA,” because “a tiny amount measured in nanograms” apparently lacked sufficient menace.
This is molecule counting as propaganda.
A fragment of DNA is not a fetus.
A cell line is not fetal tissue.
A manufacturing substrate is not the contents of the syringe.
These distinctions are elementary biology.
Some of us have actually grown cells and done science.
Kennedy grows misinformation.
And unfortunately, his culture conditions appear excellent.
Replying to @RobertKennedyJr
At his press conference today, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro accused me of promoting conspiracy theories because I told him, during an earlier telephone conversation, that some Americans had religious objections to the MMR vaccine because it contained fetal tissue. “There is no fetal tissue in the MMR,” he told me.
This is a segment from a videotaped deposition of Stanley Plotkin, the inventor of the MMR vaccine. Plotkin admits to butchering 76 aborted normally developing fetuses, all over three months old, in just one of the many studies that led to the development of his vaccine.
The rubella virus used in MMR-II is grown on the cultured cell line composed of lung tissue from an aborted three-month-old female embryo and listed as “WI-38 human diploid lung fibroblasts” in the ingredients of MMR-II as portions of these cells end up in each vial of MMR II.
During Dr. Plotkin’s deposition, Attorney Aaron Siri asked: “Isn’t it true that MMR II contains approximately 150 nanograms cells substrate double-strand DNA and single-strand DNA per dose purposefully fragmented to approximately 215 base pairs in length?” Dr. Plotkin answered: “Yeah, that’s probably correct, yes.”
This equals approximately 646 billion pieces of human DNA from an aborted fetal cell line in each vial of MMR-II.
In addition to the human DNA, there is also an unspecified amount of human cellular debris in each dose of MMR-II.
During our phone conversation, Governor Shapiro also accused me of promoting vaccine misinformation. When I asked him for an example, he was unable to provide one, but this did not deter him from publicly repeating that accusation during his press event. As I told him, HHS does not tolerate misinformation by any employee. I offered to point to hundreds of instances of vaccine misinformation by the Biden administration about which I had never heard him complain.
Governor Shapiro also faulted me for the decline in Pennsylvania vaccination rates from 97% - 93.2%. When I pushed back on this assertion, he acknowledged that most of the decline occurred during the Biden administration. It’s unfortunately true that the government lockdowns, deceptions, manipulation, and overreach during Covid severely damaged public faith in the vaccine program.
Governor Shapiro’s press conference was an example of the same species of gaslighting.
The Trump administration is working to restore public trust not by gaslighting or manipulating, but by being truthful, at last, with the public.
