I urged the Government to reassess its education tax which has led to 30,000 children having to leave independent schools and dozens of schools having to close. This is the result of a divisive policy based on ideology rather than diversity and choice.

Is this your only job now since being sacked? Just being permanently nasty I mean you're well qualified for sure but it's all a bit Terry Christian isn't it?

Oh god!! Don’t get me started! Rarely has there been such a 5th rate plethora of political unsuitability. There is a specific pattern of physical/verbal techniques used by practically all female Labour cabinet ministers when questioned and/or interviewed, ( but Ed Miliband is a male grand master of the following) , viz; increased vocal volume, rapid vocal delivery, complete evasion when confronted by anything that they don’t or can’t understand, complete intolerance of interruption and forceful talking over interviewers, (“let me finish”bleated out at every opportunity), repetition and labouring of points, manufactured anger OR, overt familiarity, ie, using the interviewer’s name constantly, smiling inappropriately, trivialisation of concerning issues by airy dismissal and of course, laying all blame for current failures on the Tories’ door step. Where is the gravitas, intellect, compassion, insight, genuine humour, etc, seen in politicians of yore? What has happened? One notes that the Labour cabinet has 54% of Oxbridge graduates, (more the David Cameron’s cabinet in 2010), yet the ineptitude and incompetence of the majority is almost unbelievable. Angela Raynor might just escape scrutiny on the basis of the paucity of her education, but Powell, Phillipson, et al? It’s dire.

Argentina have repeatedly shown us everything football shouldn’t be. Today France and England showed us what it should be. No hate between players, no filthy fouls and trying to actually harm each other, no political statements, no favouritism, no disgusting behaviour from fans just the beautiful game.

Just a reminder that the federal state of Argentina was only formed in 1853–1861. How do these geopolitical toddlers think that they have a right to The Falklands, which the Brits have had since 1690.

Why would she come back to you? You’re clearly lacking in comprehension, knowledge and decorum. Also, you’re irrelevant. Your tantrum this week just proves you’re unfit for any public position. This will be remedied at the next GE. And no one will ever remember you.

Retweet if you think @annaturley should be encouraged to repay her scholarship fees given that she feels so strongly about private education.
Replying to @annaturley
And btw I had a full academic scholarship so my parents didn’t pay any fees. But don’t worry on their account, they were just proud I’m using my opportunity to try and make life fairer for others.

As Sir Peter Lampl said about Keir Starmer: “I am helping young people to benefit from an education that made all the difference to me, Starmer is destroying the opportunities to have the same chances he had.” When did the @suttontrust diverge from their founder’s views?

Every child except those that live in families where victimhood mentality isn’t encouraged, where parents take responsibility and where parents work hard but still do their best to meet their children’s needs. Every child except those children.

If you believe that independent school kids should be forced into bad state schools to 'make them better', you should be putting your own children deliberately into bad state schools and working to make those schools better. Anything less is hypocrisy.

Next time someone talks about SEND keep this in mind - not my experience, mainly because I can’t afford to fight the LA through the courts. I’m glad someone did.

“This Gov is picking quite a deliberate fight on a way of life. VAT on private school fees…they knew [they wouldn’t hire more teachers]. They just didn’t like that people used private education. Quite a pernicious, deliberate socialist attack on our way of life.” @jjpoconnell

You know what Tally, I’m proud of the fact that my children have two loving parents, a stable home and a good life and that we gave to them through hard graft. Everything we have, we have WORKED for- nothing has ever come for free. So shove your victimhood mentality.

Labour are cancelling elections, jury trials, imposing digital ID, censoring online speech, arresting people for tweets, expanding facial recognition, all without a political mandate. This is how dictatorships operate. And yet they call us a threat to democracy. Watch my exchange with their MP who defended it all. 👇 #PoliticsLive
