No team in MLB history has swept both the LCS and the World Series in best of 7's. Do the Milwaukee Brewers finish the job tonight?

Betting preview including a play for the Monday night NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. Philadelphia's offense enters this contest completely devastated by injuries. With quarterback Jalen Hurts out and backup Tanner McKee making his second career start, the Eagles will be forced into an incredibly predictable, run heavy game plan. This desperation entirely plays into the hands of a Dallas defense that ranks 8th in the NFL in EPA per run allowed to running backs and is rapidly improving as shutdown cornerback Joey Porter Jr. handles an increased snap count. Compounding McKee’s challenges, the Eagles will be completely missing their top two perimeter weapons, DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, a massive loss that slashes Philadelphia's offensive efficiency by an estimated 2.7 points per game. Conversely, the high powered Dallas offense remains a top ten unit under pressure, ranking 8th in EPA and 9th in success rate. They receive a massive boost tonight with the return of star left guard Tyler Smith, who is poised to anchor the line against an Eagles defense that has bled production to rank 27th in EPA and 25th in down to down success rate. While Philadelphia's defense simply lacks the stamina or depth to bail out an offense that projects as the literal worst in the league under these injury conditions. After adjusting for these extreme roster discrepancies, power ratings favor Dallas by over 6 points. Play the Dallas Cowboys at -4 or better!

Betting preview including a play for the morning NFL game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints. The Pittsburgh Steelers present a glaring structural advantage as they head across the Atlantic to face the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France. After a sluggish start to the season, Pittsburgh’s offense has completely turned the corner, averaging an explosive 28.5 points and 356 yards per game over their last four contests. Aaron Rodgers has seamlessly adjusted to absences on the perimeter by feeding rookie wideout Germie Bernard, who has stepped up as a reliable target. This surging unit is perfectly primed to dissect a bottom tier Saints defense that ranks a miserable 31st in down to down success rate and surrenders nearly 30 points per game, heavily masking their deep efficiency liabilities with unsustainable, highly volatile takeaway luck. New Orleans presents clear fade value as their structural flaws compound on the international stage. Their sputtering offense (averaging just 4.8 yards per play) will face an elite fifth ranked Pittsburgh defense that is poised to cause havoc, especially with elite starting guard Cesar Ruiz expected to miss the game with a knee injury. Ruiz's absence leaves quarterback Tyler Shough entirely exposed to immediate interior pressure from the Steelers front. From a market standpoint, neutral site favorites with a superior record cover the spread at a dominant 60%+ historical clip, including an elite Against the Spread system that applies perfectly to Pittsburgh. The ratings I use dictate that the Steelers should be favored by 5.5 points, I will be laying the -3 on Pittsburgh and would even buy the hook to -2.5 at -125.

What went wrong in the Cleveland Cavaliers at Philadelphia Sixers game in the second half? Like someone explain how an NBA team could put up the most embarrassing 2h boxscore I've seen in a while?

Betting preview for the NFL game tonight between the New England Patriots and Chicago Bears. The power ratings I use project Chicago as a 3.5 point favourite, giving the current market price of Bears -3 clear value. While New England’s offense has come to life lately, their offensive line is a massive fading opportunity tonight with starting guards Alijah Vera Tucker and Ben Brown ruled out. The drop off to backup Walter Rouse is catastrophic, Rouse allowed an 11.2% pressure rate in relief duty, and the Patriots efficiency plummets from a crisp +0.08 EPA per play to a dismal -0.22 EPA per play when he is on the field. This trench liability docks New England a full point on the power ratings, allowing a slightly depleted Chicago defense which ranks #5 in success rate to mask the absences of Montez Sweat and Dayo Odeyingbo by scheming up heavy blitz packages against a highly vulnerable backup guard. On the other side of the ball, the Patriots secondary presents a glaring leak with borderline Pro Bowl corner Carlton Davis III sidelined. Expect Bears OC Ben Johnson to completely avoid star corner Christian Gonzalez and relentlessly pick on backup Charles Woods, who surrenders a hefty 8.4 yards per target. While Caleb Williams limited mobility due to a bad hamstring costs Chicago 2.0 points in rushing EPA, and the absence of RB Kyle Monangai further caps their ground game, Williams short passing efficiency is sharp enough to exploit this massive secondary mismatch. I will lay the short number with the Bears -3 and hope to finally break the prime time dogs streak tonight!

Betting preview on the NFL game tonight between the Washington Commanders and San Francisco 49ers. San Francisco enters this matchup as the league's top rated powerhouse, presenting clear line value against a struggling Washington squad. The primary tactical mismatch lies in the passing game: the Commanders defense blitzes at a heavy 45% rate, which plays directly into the hands of Brock Purdy, who has carved up extra rushers this season. Even if Washington backs off their pressure, their secondary has surrendered a 56.4% success rate on pass plays when not blitzing. While the 49ers defense will be missing elite edge rusher Nick Bosa and linebacker Dre Greenlaw adjusting their unit to 1.5 points below average quarterback Jayden Daniels and the average Washington offense face a severe step up in class after padding metrics against sub par Dallas and Giants units. From a betting perspective, the market numbers strongly favor the home team. Power ratings establish San Francisco as a 9.7 point favorite, though that line adjusts down to 9.0 points if star wideout Mike Evans sits out. The 49ers apply to a dominant 38-8 Against the Spread (ATS) Monday night home favorite situation. Personally I will be passing on this game tonight since favorites have not been covering on prime time games but good luck if you bet it.
