A+B castle in Harmony of Dissonance sucks.
But I’m so close to just getting to play Aria of Sorrow I must persevere
Seeing so many tweets from people not feeling the new Castlevania because it feels like Dead Cells or Blasphemous (which is sort of the vibe the demo gave me) and then a hundred comments underneath like “Yeah but those games are good, so whatever!”and I’m going insane

A large and complex gothic structure known as Castlevania appeared suddenly out of thin air in South Jersey last night.

It’s so sick how the Boris album where they arguably sold out (Pink) absolutely fucking rips, and then every other album where they arguably sold out more (Smile, New Album, etc) also rip.
And then they can also go back and do the old sound without missing a beat
Giving a mainline Castlevania game to the team who made Dead Cells would be like giving a mainline Metroid game to the team who made Samus Returns.
This is literally the first time I’ve realised after like two decades that he’s Jeff Mangum and not MAGNUM
Playing through Metroid Dread again and it’s so weak. I cannot understand why folk love it so much.
The parry shit totally kills it
