What drives me crazy about this is the fact that the handling of the marketing of this game was terrible. It was nowhere. Massively underserved from the publishing side, considering what a gem of a game it is. Another sad and frankly avoidable story.

The GOW Laufey discourse is incredibly stupid. The argument that the criticism isn't gender based is silly. I agree with you all! I do not think you have a problem with female leads. You have a problem with female leads that don't satisfy your sexual desire.
The game looks amazing, with fun design ideas and a thematic setting that could really deepen the franchise's lore and world. But it doesn't matter because "this female is not sexually appealing to me," therefore I will claim "It's not Kratos, so it's bad."

It’s funny how graphics and perception in games changes over time. I have the fondest memory of the original baldurs gate dark alliance and remember thinking the water physics were the most realistic water id ever seen back in the day.
