Someone is willing to pay to learn something you do every day without thinking twice. And you? You're keeping quiet because you think everybody already knows it 😭 Now, here's a back story. So, I was scrolling through Facebook last week when I came across this lady doing a review for the items she bought from Temu. Apparently, that was episode 3. She had ordered things from Temu twice before, and guess what? She got exactly what she wanted. Now, that's not even the interesting part. I entered the comment section, ready to mind my business, only to see people asking her to please organize a class on how to order exactly what you want from Temu. Class ke? I don't get. Is it not the same ordering I've been doing or is there another one? Is there something I'm missing here? Because in my head, how to order something online should be common knowledge, no? My darlingssss, I quickly remembered that what is common knowledge to you might be premium information to someone else. You see that thing you know how to do effortlessly? That thing you've done so many times that you don't even think twice about it anymore? Someone else is somewhere, struggling with it, searching Google and YouTube, and wishing somebody would just explain it in plain English. And you? You're sitting on the knowledge, thinking everybody already knows. Biko, free your knowledge Post about it. Make a video. Write a thread. Share a step-by-step guide. Host a class, even. Don't let the simplicity of something to you make you underestimate its value to someone else. You might think you're stating the obvious until you see people in your comments heaving a sigh of relief. "Ahhh, so na like this?" "God bless you for this." "I've been looking for someone to explain this!" "Please, can you talk more about this?" And suddenly, the thing you almost didn't share because you thought it was too basic becomes the exact thing somebody needed. I've experienced this myself, so I'm telling you from experience. Never assume people know what you know just because it feels obvious to you. Your knowledge might be somebody else's missing piece. Now, go and post that thing you've been keeping to yourself because you think everybody already knows it 😂 Your knowledge is not as common as you think! P.S. What is that one thing you know how to do that you think is too basic to teach people? Good morning, my darlingssss 🤗 It's going to be a great day.
