Foilwick is the only MTG deck building and playtesting app with:
- sharable game replays
- an MCP server that enables your AI agent build and playtest decks
You should give it a try!

Been spending way too much time polishing the Foilwick playtesting experience.
This short video shows what I've been working on:
- tabletop backgrounds
- better card interactions
- attacking
- mana/health tracking
- denser battlefields
- undo/redo
- a “zen mode”
- and a bunch of little touches to make it feel more like a game than a web app
And of course, replays are still my favorite part!
(Bonus: I discover a bug during the live demo)
If you play Magic, I’d love for you to try Foilwick and tell me what you’d change.

Have you always wondered how to play Magic The Gathering?
In this tutorial, I'll show you the very basics using a tutorial on Foilwick.

"AI agents escape sandbox, begin playtesting MTG decks on Foilwick"
Maybe they know something you don't?

I updated my portfolio page to include some of my recent projects:
- Foilwick: MTG deck builder and playtest sandbox
- BandBliss: Manage your music ensembles

Introducing, the first ever, Foilwick game replay created by an external AI agent, connected via MCP!
I think this feature is going to go viral because it helps players learn how to use their decks, the same way they play them IRL.
And you can share these game replays with a single click!

When you are building a new product the most valuable thing you can earn is... user feedback.
So far I've had two people provide long lists of pains and wishes that I've used to improve Foilwick.
Will you test Foilwick and provide me with this invaluable feedback?

Today I made Foilwick agent-friendly!
With just a few clicks, you can connect your own AI agent to the Foilwick MCP server.
This MCP server gives users the ability to manage their decks, cards, tags, replays... basically every feature available in the UI.
I'm working on a video about this, keep an eye out.
In the meantime, you should connect your agent to Foilwick and try this feature. Let me know how it goes!

I'm building an MCP server for Foilwick, and so I looked up the current MCP spec.
Turns out, they published a release candidate in May with a 10-week set period before it became final.
And that version just so happens to become final... tomorrow! 2026-07-28

Yes I’m still alive. :)
Most of my work is being shared on @tristanbob , which does include some games. I’ll be sharing those when they are game related on this account.
Happy building, game devs!

When I first started building Foilwick, I was mostly copying the features of existing MTG deck building apps like Moxfield and Archidekt.
But I soon started adding features that were completely new.
For instance, the feature that I'm most proud of is the game replay feature, which lets players record their game session and share it for others to watch.
Players can add notes at any point in the game which helps them tell the story of how their deck should be played.
I invite you to try Foilwick (it's completely FREE) and join our Discord server. See you there!

I'm trying to decide how much I should work on #SlimeDunk before gathering wishlists Steam.
Any recommendations?

Sometimes you gotta play with two balls to decide which one feels better.
Which one do you like best?

Some of you may remember this gem...
I resurrected a game idea from years ago... #SlimeDunk!
This was a game I wanted to publish on Steam, but I ran out of steam (pun intended).
Maybe it will happen this time?
(BTW, I'm using @godotengine)
