Gavin Newsom has spent months trying to block oil production off the coast of Santa Barbara.
@InnerRhythmWave is a surf instructor there and has seen the consequences with his own eyes:
Oil SEEPING out of the sand — sticking to people and their pets!
We can lower gas prices AND protect our environment at the same time. We just need common sense leadership in California. ☀️
Sable Offshore Corp. (“Sable”)(NYSE: SOC) plans to post a new investor presentation to its corporate website before market open on Monday, June 1, 2026 and plans to host a conference call to discuss the new investor presentation on Monday June 1, 2026 at 10:00am CDT / 11:00am EDT. $SOC
Wilson from top rope today....
"Finally, Plaintiff (Cal State Parks) asserts that its inability to conduct environment review and assess pipeline safety may constitute irreparable harm. That argument is also unavailing. Plaintiff may not use its contracting power to effect or impose safety regulations on a pipeline beyond the scope of its authority. Plaintiff’s noted concerns about its inability to address environmental and safety concerns undoubtedly refer to an inability to regulate the Pipeline’s use. Under the binding Consent Decree, however, regulation of the Pipeline is to be controlled by California’s Office of the State Fire Marshall (“OSFM”). Consequently, there is no irreparable harm in Plaintiff’s inability to regulate, because Plaintiff, who is also a party to the Consent Decree, has no regulatory authority over the Pipeline of which it may be deprived."
Wonder how he really feels. $SOC
Ohhh Bonta - from DOJ to Wilson
"In sum, the Court should reject California’s Goldilocks interpretation of Rule 24. According to California, the United States’s intervention is both too early, id. at 3 n.1 (“the motion is premature”), and too late, id. at 13-14 (requesting that the Court restrict the United States’s involvement to avoid delay); and the United States does not have an interest at risk of impairment, id. at 5-7, but it does have interests all too common with Defendants to warrant its involvement. Id. at 8-10. Rule 24 does not require a proposed intervenor to thread this impossible needle." $SOC
Chevron sticking up for local producers $SOC
This was Chevron’s response to the left’s stickers blaming President Trump.
Chevron is letting customers know in California that it’s not Donald Trump causing the insane gas prices in the state, it’s California Democrats.
Chevron just added these new signs to their pumps, educating customers, “Sacramento policies did this. Now you pay more.”
“California politicians are choosing foreign oil and fuels over local jobs and lower costs.”
Companies willing to educate the public and tell the truth.
It’s Gavin Newsom and Democrat policies causing a $6.30+ average cost per gallon in California.
Looks like Bonta doesn't want Feds sniffing around in discovery -
"If, however, the Court grants the United States’ motion to intervene, it should limit the scope of the United States’ intervention to solely intervention in pleadings related to the Defense Production Act (“DPA”), and formally exclude the United States from participating in the submitted preliminary injunction motion, future discovery, any trial, and from any pleadings unrelated to the DPA and Order issued pursuant to the DPA on March 13, 2026 (the “Wright Order”)." Mentions Sable Offshore is now providing 50,000 bbl/day of oil to the state, but fails to highlight Newsom and California are suing to shut it down.

Another pinch-point, jet fuel. ~70% of California's jet fuel imports come from South Korea, which itself is now largely cut off from supplies of crude oil from the Middle East.
So Gavin likes Gulf of Mexico offshore barrels but not his own? $SOC

$SOC Reinforcements! The U.S. government has brought a motion for permission to intervene in California Department of Parks and Recreation v. Sable (Gaviota Park trespass case). California opposes the motion. Memorandum in support suggests intervention likely to be permitted.
Oil is over $105 and the California AG is suing Sable Offshore to shut in 50,000 bbl/day of flowing oil production in California. Can we get a little help highlighting this @SullyCNBC @larry_kudlow @marcuslemonis @SteveHiltonx @billmaher
We’re filing a motion for a preliminary injunction in an effort to block the Trump Administration from unlawfully greenlighting the restart of two CA onshore oil pipelines that are subject to State regulation and oversight.
Unfortunately, California has seen first-hand the devastating environmental and public health impacts of coastal oil spills, yet the Trump Administration will stop at nothing to evade state regulation, which protects against these very disasters.
npr.org/2026/04/30/nx-s1-577… Now NPR is worried about California refineries and feedstock? Oh the irony. Linda will not be happy
