Athlete A, as quoted below, is truly upsetting but also immensely necessary. The gymnastics world needs to be held accountable for not only the actions of Larry Nassar and USA Gymnastics at that time but also for the actions of all the coaches who treat gymnasts as "lesser than".

FINALLY vindication for what we have been trying to explain for the last two years. When people have asked
“but what did they actually do?”
or
“they are all snow flakes”
Read the report, read the news articles in black & white. It’s was abuse & shouldn’t have happened.

Happy 10th Birthday to my metal spine. It's been a rollercoaster & I haven't always loved you but for an improvised experiment, you've done really well. I'm finally able to say I'm proud of you.
Storytime! Let me tell you a tale.
I had an audition with @ScottishOpera. A real live audition, which is amazing. But what was even more amazing is that I came home absolutely raving about this audition, not because I got the job but because they were inclusive!
There was a moment with a woman who said to me "let me know if you need any help". Which I brushed off as I don't want to be a bother. And she said "No, really. It is absolutely okay to ask." And it really was, I was met with smiles and enthusiasm whenever I asked anything.

Gymnastics SA mourns the death of Odette Richard.
Odette was part of the most successful era of Rhythmic Gymnasts in South Africa to date.
Her family are in our thoughts and prayers. Odette was loved and we cherish the time we had with her.

Despite JA regularly insisting the issues with BG stem from a lack of athlete reporting, @danroan questions BG's response to those who DO come forward.
This article says everything I ever could. Jane Allen is a coward, along with many others at BG. No accountability, no apology, no care.

10yrs on from the 2010 CWG. I choose to remember the joy and how amazing an experience it is but there's another story underneath ...

Tonight my ballet teacher told me that my kicks "could break a person". Always wanted to be told that but thought ballet would be one of the last places I'd hear it!
Ten years on since the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. What an adventure.
