I'm going to just say I don't like it. VR diablo looks very motion sickness inducing.
So Diablo 2 VR. Arcane Sanctuary. I was curious what It would be like in VR.
While it's a bit different, like no stars, just blackness. But it gives off this extremely unsettling, sinister and Satanic vibe. Taking a town portal back to Lut Gholein brings this feeling of relief. Because it's actually intense.
Diablo 2 is a masterclass in ambience and you can FEEL it in VR.
The level of immersion is off the charts. You can lose yourself in this game. I'm absolutely floored by how good Diablo 2 translates to VR.

It's been a little too negative lately, meaning I've been too negative lately. Jesus Christ loves us all, and loves you.
Oldfag here, ignore all advice from someone who says, "attention young men".
Attention Young Men:
I am surrounded by 20 year old girls in my life that are smart, capable, hard working and cute. Nobody is dating them. Not sure what the deal is, but I don’t get it.
Step 1: Stop playing video games
Step 2: Head to great clips and get that lettuce cleaned up
Step 3: Hit a shower (when dating hygiene is critical)
Step 4: Go clean your car
Step 5: Sign up for a yoga class
Step 6: Go to the yoga class
Step 7: Ask a cute for her phone number at yoga class (yes you can meet girls IRL and not just on the apps - 10/10 the Dirt Dog highly recommends)
Step 8: Follow up within 2 days with a phone call and ask them out for this coming weekend Friday or Saturday night.
Step 9: IMPORTANT - come up with a good game plane for date night. Get a dinner reservation, get an activity planned. Let them know in advance what you are doing so they can dress appropriately. I know you are gunna roll off the couch and head to date night, but they are not. They are going to stress about what to wear and call at least 6 different people on FaceTime to ask their opinion.
Step 10: I highly recommend you bring flowers to the door step. I’m not covering that you go to the doorstep, because if you don’t do that you have no hope here. Women want men to date them. You don’t need to break the bank on flowers. Head to Trader Joe’s. Grab 2 different kinds of flowers. If you don’t know what matches find the closest looking lady to your mom at TJ’s and ask her. Wrap the 2 flowers into 1 bouquet with paper. Bonus Points you can cut open a TJ bag and use that as the paper.
Step 11: Be a gentleman on the date. She isn’t there to hear your life story. Ask her about her. For every 1 question you answer, ask her 3. Open Doors, pay for the meal, be polite.
Provided you follow most of this guideline you are highly likely to get yourself an opportunity for date number 2.
Keep going until you find someone that you can’t imagine not being around all the time. That’s when you have found a good one for you.
My life is complete with my wife as my companion. I wish you the same fortune in life. Happy Hunting.
Yoga is pagan. This is terrible advice.

I dislike the "CHRISTIANS SHOULD LOVE SUFFERING" memes. Jesus prayed in Gethsemane. It is okay to be afraid, to ask God to spare you, to ask for a change of plans. Jesus did. Jesus did God's will. That is what we are called to do.

DEATH EATER: "From Ronald Weasley, my Lord. The so-called enterprise. He handles everything from legal to illegal."
VOLDEMORT: "Amazing."
He took another sip.

DEATH EATER: "How much, my Lord?"
VOLDEMORT: "All of it."

I now hope we go in the direction where Neville is forced to kill Necromorphs with sectum sempra while taunted by visions of Luna from the marker.
Neville: "Luna? Can I have a word?"
Luna: "You can have all of them if you so command it from me"
Neville: "Uh... can you explain what is going on? Everyone says you know everything--"
Luna: "I know enough, only what I am told by those above me."
Neville: "I don't know what that means."
Luna: "Few do."
Neville: "Luna... I don't understand what has happened. I have memories of Malfoy being a boy, the school being somewhat close to orderly, Professor McGonnagall being just a stern teacher. What happened? Why is this stupid sword appearing everywhere I go?"
Luna: "There are many words used to describe it. Convergence, Alignment, some would even say that the Stars are Right. It is the old ones, Neville. They have come."
Neville: "The old...ones?"
Luna: "The Old Ones, the ones who were there at the start of our world as it dawned upon reality. Who saw the story of the universe in their dawning ages and rejoiced at the beauty of reality. Then, they were cast out, sent away, purged from our domain and replaced with inferior creatures. Disgusting monsters that warped Hermione into a lesser being, forced Dumbledore into madness, and rotted our very existence from within all for their petty, self centered pleasures."
Neville: "I don't understand what you are saying Luna... I am so confused."
Luna: "The Old ones have come, having purged the false gods from our world. Neville, you don't understand, this is how things SHOULD be. They are fixing our world, undoing the damage and gifting the faithful with power and knowledge."
Neville: "Then why do they keep sending me this stupid sword?"
Luna: "Because the Once and Future King has returned to claim it, Neville."

They also don't understand that the best case for them is AI being a machine.
The church won't conclude they are human, or if it does, it will declare creating them an abomination since it is not through natural processes.
If it concludes they are non-human conscious entities, they will likely conclude they are demonic.
"Wait, was is this Potter? why did it suddenly change to Professor Dumbledore doing The People's Elbow to Dobby from the high rope?"
"...oh, sorry, didn't realize someone was here. Fifty points for Gryffindor."
"Affectus remotio" Draconia whispered, gritting her teeth and clenching her wand. Waiting, desperately, for something to happen, for something to change. The stack of books around her growing taller by the hour, with titles such as "Basic Hexes for the Busy and Vexed", and "A Compendium of Common Curses and Their Counter-Actions". She had been at it for hours, late into the night, casting counter-curse after counter-curse on herself. Feeling nothing change but her level of anguish.
She hadn't showered or left the library in two days. Her hair was greasy, and the bags under her eyes were heavy. "Stupid Snape. Stupid potions. Stupid magic. Stupid Potter!" Draconia shouted, knocking over one of her stacks of dusty tomes.
"Shh." Instructed a passing ghost, much to her irritation.
"Stupid ghost." she muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose.
She looked a mess, and smelled even worse. Luckily it was several hours past midnight, and the library was completely empty. She had special permission to be out of bed this late of course, from Snape. "Good luck with your research Miss Malfoid, however, I don't suspect you will find the answers you seek in the library." What did he mean by that? Something about the way he said it bothered her. What does it mean? She looked down at her notes, full of hastily scratched spells and their counter curses, references to books that referenced other books, old anecdotes, and rumors of love hexes.
She pulled her hair again, and slammed her fist on the table. If Snape knew what was wrong with her, why wouldn't he tell her? Is this a test of some sort?
As she thought, she absent-mindedly sketched a lightning bolt in her notes.
Suddenly, she knew. Of course. It was unthinkable, but it was the only explanation. Potter used the imperius curse on her. One of the three unforgivable curses, used to control people like a puppet. Probably when she was sleeping, he snuck in and cast it on her, with a subtle enough command that it would go unnoticed. Of course! A spell that dark and that powerful wouldn't be released by simple counter-curses found in the student library.
Draconia was more relieved than angry. Finally, an explanation. Now she just needed to find Potter, get him to release the curse, and tell her father. Finally, something to get that half-blooded creep expelled.
She took out her silver hairbrush, ran it through her platinum hair, and sighed, ready to return to her dorm and get some much needed sleep.
After returning the books to their proper home, she exited the library quietly, smiling to herself. "I'm probably the first witch in history to be relieved to discover she's under the control of the imperius curse", she mused. The castle was unnerving at night, but it was never quiet. The soft roar of the torches in the corridor, the sleepless ghosts floating around, the soft snoring of the living paintings. Though she was apprehensive, at least she wasn't alone.
Alone. The word echoed in her head.
She heard footsteps around the corner in front of her. They were hurried, but light. Someone trying not to be caught. Before she could think, Draconia dove into an alcove nearby, hiding next to a suit of armor who turned to look at her, seemingly confused. She held up a finger to her mouth to quiet the armor, to which it simply shrugged and returned to it's resting position.
Draconia peeped around the corner and saw a Gryffindor robe and untidy black hair speed by. Harry?! What in Merlin's beard is he doing here?
Is he... looking for her? He must be. She gritted her teeth in anger. That creep is up to no good. Probably sneaking around looking for more ways to torment her. Though she was exhausted beyond measure, and yearned for her bed, she decided to follow him.
Harry was going somewhere she had never been before, ducking through hallways and secret doorways. Behind paintings and through dark corridors. Never once did he turn and notice her. How did this oblivious fool manage to cast such a high-level dark curse on her?
Finally, after squeezing into a dark and dusty room, Harry stopped. Draconia ducked down, peeking around a dusty sheet hanging over an abandoned globe to look at him from behind.
He was just standing there, staring at himself in a mirror. What? She continued watching him for minutes, waiting for him to do something, but he just... stood there. Staring at himself.
Draconia couldn't hold it in anymore, and she started laughing.
Harry whipped his head around, wand in hand.
"Malfoid?! What are you doing here? Did you follow me?"
"Honestly Potter, sneaking off to stare at yourself in the mirror? Such vanity!"
"I wasn't... that's not..." Harry stammered, looking away from her shyly.
"That's pathetic, even for you." Draconia giggled, her hair falling forward as she clutched her stomach.
"It's no ordinary mirror, Malfoid," Harry shot back, "It... well... come take a look."
"Sure", she laughed, approaching him. "And what exactly am I supposed to be seeing?"
"What do you mean? Just look in the mirror."
"I am, I don't see anything unusual."
"It's supposed to show you your heart's greatest desire. It's called the Mirror of Erised. Dumbledore told me about it." Harry said, his face turning red.
"Well it seems your mirror is broken, Potter." Draconia giggled, "Because I only see you and me."
Dumbledore with 2 shady viziers is the next logical evolution of the story.
