the strategy was simple. long gold swap short the perp. avg oi was $40k with a min hold time of 1-4hours depending on funding.
for this week i'm yet to trade much. as y'all know i got stuck with a trade over the weekend. just closed it this morning.

i've seen lots of rank to volume ratios. and it's safe to say i have the best 💀
i've seen chads with way more volume and a lower rank than mine.
to think that i only farmed 100K organically.
a good oi farmer will always be a good oi farmer. was just so many platforms popping up back then, couldn't stay consistent cause i kept withdrawing from arcus to ondo, rh lighter, perpl and the likes.
variational was king tho. never missed a week, as it was and will always be the main product.
meanwhile i'll will look more into trading rwas outside regular hours.

meanwhile I tested borrowing with 3 hype ($280) and easily got $100, with liquidation at $36.
I used to do this when hype was around $26: supplied on hyperLend, borrowed usdc to buy back hype, and repaid the debt when it hit $45.
was a good strategy back in the day. Instead of selling hype you borrow against it.

i'm not saying don't farm other platforms. but y'all are banking on being early, and on variational farmers leaving after the airdrop.
here's what's most likely to happen.
variational makes most holders rich, at least the ones with diamond hands.
most of us fumbled our hype bags, chased other platforms, even sold hype to buy $purr. me included. i'm pretty sure if you'd just held 50% of your airdrop, you'd have beaten most farmers since 2024.
now we're getting a second chance. i doubt we wanna make that mistake again, when we're already exposed to one of the cleanest assets after hype.
when it runs, we'll probably get that ".hl" frenzy all over the timeline again.
