We went to House of Representatives meeting for dept of education today. I sent in request for interpreter last week. The chair responded back and they would work to get one for meeting today. But no, they don’t have interpreter. This is third time in ONE week! 😡😡😡 – at Omaha, NE

For over 150 years, Iowa leaders of both parties were so proud to invest in our public education system. It worked so well we put it on our quarter.
Today’s new idea: defund it by giving money instead to private entities that don’t have to follow the same rules.
