ATL! Looking forward to seeing you tonight at @RefactrTech's panel on "Preparing for a Career in #AI" with Jairobe McPherson, @ceceliacreates, @dataneel and our own @jeromehardaway! #Atlanta #tech #meetup

As we conclude this thread showcasing our work, let's take into action. Bring #VetsWhoCode to #VetFest, so we can showcase our work to the larger veteran environment. @craignewmark @bwforg #GotYour6

Because we focus on the work, we've been highlighted by everyone who's anyone in the tech education space. Like @stackoverflow: @craignewmark @bwforg #GotYour6 buff.ly/2QJoTAf

The final success metric is a focus on #OpenSource and providing access tools our troops can build on. Our troops work on our Web App, editor resources, as well as internal projects, like our AI Teacher, J0di3. @craignewmark @bwforg #GotYour6 buff.ly/31iFTR9

Our success stems from leading with real world talent, specifically software engineers who actively code and have professional experience. This focus ensures we teach relevant skills for today's market, especially in the era of AI. @craignewmark @bwforg #GotYour6

One of the secrets to our success from others with more funding or popularity has been pretty simple: Train how you work. That means focusing heavily on tools and practices that you'll use your entire career like @code, @github, or Agile. @craignewmark @bwforg #GotYour6

That doesn't mean that the government didn't notice: While founded in 2014, by 2015 we were invited to the @whitehouse for @BarackObama 's First ever White House Demo Day ( different name back then, same mission) . @craignewmark @bwforg #GotYour6 Image by @getty

We guarantee that our program is truly free of charge, thanks to the support of donors. This means we are not affected by any changes in government funding, like the recent issue with VETTEC running out of funds. @craignewmark @bwforg #GotYour6

#VetsWhoCode, a non-profit empowering veterans & spouses with software engineering training. Over 10 years, we've helped 300+ individuals transition into tech, earning $20M collectively, all at zero cost. @craignewmark @bwforg #GotYour6
