You don’t need everyone.
You need the right people in the room.
Different backgrounds. Different skill sets.
One mission: show up for veterans and do the work the right way.
Consistency over hype.
Trust over shortcuts.
Veterans. Network. Champions. Club. 🇺🇸
4 things before you file a VA claim. Document everything. Ask for help early. Medical evidence connecting it to service. Never downplay your symptoms, don't just take Motrin and drive on. Free assessment: help.veteransnetwork.club
Just because the VA orders a C&P exam doesn't mean your private medical opinion was insufficient or that you wasted your money on a nexus letter.
Sometimes there's a legitimate reason for another exam. Sometimes it's an unnecessary request. And sometimes, yeah, it's just sloppy work.
But apparently, some people on the internet have figured out exactly what happened with YOUR claim without ever looking at your file. 🙃
Stop treating someone else's VA claim experience like it's a universal rule.

There's a difference between the injury that happened in service and the disability you're claiming because of it. The injury is the event. The claim is the disability it left you with. Not sure what to claim? Book a free assessment: help.veteransnetwork.club

4/ Then connect it to your service. More conditions does not equal a stronger claim. A coherent, well-documented claim does.
3/ Check if it’s documented. Then get seen while you’re still in. A symptom is not a condition. You need a diagnosis.
2/ Start with what you’re dealing with now. Not a cold from 2017. Not a rolled ankle that healed. What you are dealing with RIGHT NOW.
1/ A VSO told a service member to file for everything he went to sick call for. That is a list, not a strategy. Here is what actually makes a BDD claim strong. 🧵
"But it's already in my medical records." Don't gamble your exam on that assumption. Your records document treatment. You provide the context. Know your history, symptoms, and impact. C&P course: veteransnetwork.club/ace_you…
🚨 The 2027 COLA is official!
VA disability compensation is increasing by 3.6% starting December 1, 2026.
Every dollar counts. 💰

Not every proposed change is an emergency. Fear gets attention. Facts help you make better decisions. Know what is actually changing, when it takes effect, and whether it applies to your claim before you react. Not sure? veteransnetwork.club
“My back is worse" can mean a lot of different things. If symptoms go down your legs, note which side, how often, and what you can't do when it happens. Give your provider something specific to evaluate. Free assessment: help.veteransnetwork.club

This veteran's path to 100% P&T came down to building a stronger claim: updated medical evidence, a stronger personal statement, C&P prep, and an organized evidence package. That's the difference strategy makes. Free assessment: help.veteransnetwork.club
After the military, I went into the Federal Air Marshal Service. One thing we pride ourselves on is gun accuracy.
In an airplane with a gun, you have to be on target. We don't have time to miss. One shot, one kill.
Some veterans do the exact opposite at their C&P exam. They spray and pray. Exaggerating, fabricating, saying every crazy thing they heard online, hoping something sticks and gets them a rating.
I'm telling you right now: I need you to be a sniper. Air marshal level qualified. Make every round count. Make every intentional thing you say count.
Speak your truth and be uncomfortably vulnerable. You don't have to exaggerate. You don't have to fabricate symptoms.
Your truth is enough. You just have to know how to unpack it and say it.
C&P exam coming up? Here's the course we built to take the guesswork out of preparing the right way.

Bad exam? Pissed? Fair. Don't swing. Write. Step one: document it same day. Step two: report it to the contractor. Step three: submit a written statement to the VA. Part 2, Part 1 has the red flags: veteransnetwork.club/ace_you…
"I didn't know how to explain it, so I just shut down." We hear this after C&Ps all the time. The fix isn't memorizing lines. It's walking in knowing what matters: how often, how bad, how it affects your work, sleep, family. Exam coming up? Our C&P course: veteransnetwork.club/ace_you…
