When people ask what it’s like to be a vet I might just send them this thread… It’s the best job in the world, every day is different and I love it but the public’s opinion of the profession is depressing and getting worse

My dog got a grass seed stuck in his paw which developed into a blood blister. Vet wanted to take him in overnight and operate on his paw at a cost of £750. So instead, I applied Sudocrem to the wound and within the hour it was all sorted. How do vets sleep at night?

How cutting back will add so much more

On the 1st of September 2021, I decided to stop drinking. Cutting back on my alcohol consumption was one of the best decisions that I have ever made, and I’ll go as far as to say that working…

✨ Small but mighty! 🦻🏼 I got my new hearing aids this week! They are teeny tiny but make all the difference. They connect to Bluetooth & I can use my awesome @3MLittmann Digital stethoscope with them. Very grateful! @NHSuk @phonak #Vet #Veterinary #Hearingloss

@DailyMailUK Shame on you! Another article written which encourages Vet Bashing… just read the comments! Especially at a time when we are losing members of our profession. Please re-consider this article! #NOMV
