it’s 2026 and about time to reinstall genshin.
Character Trailer - "Lohen: A Masterpiece" | Genshin Impact
#GenshinImpact #Lohen
Lohen takes every battle seriously and gives each one his all.
That might make him sound like a careful, responsible warrior with a solemn sense of duty.
But don't let his smile fool you.

Dear artists...
If your clients give you references with heavy lighting or ambient lighting and you cant seem to get the right skin tone...
THROW FLESH CUBES AT THEM AND HAVE THEM PICK ONE.
I've been using these for years and I've never had anyone tell me I've gotten their skin tone wrong.
When in doubt skin cubes.
I have no idea if the artist who made these has an X but their username at the time these were posted to deviant art was Puppsicle.
Client asked for a bit more details and my hand slipped and got carried away ^^,
Anyways, Live2D style test complete for @SeraphiWhisper 💜🖤

Why this is:
The cmo3 file is like liquid gold.
As a rigging artist giving your cmo3 someone can:
- reuse +mass reproduce your work file for other models or their own commissions.
- Mass produce your file and profit off of your work
- Take your techniques and your style
- The credit will become confusing when a model that no longer looks like the original rig is still credited.
Rigging is a technical art form. Most people don’t know the time and personal techniques that are put into models. A lot of big name rigging artists don’t show how reproduce their style because in rigging style is everything and what sets you apart.
If someone gets a cmo3 and literally can reproduce all the rigging artists hard work spent on it. Even to the point of mass selling it on a larger scale or using it for their own commissions- the rigging artist is the only one who gets hurt.
You pay for a cheeseburger at a restaurant but you don’t pay to know the recipe.

Related to the Final Fantasy XIV story skipping debate:
A lot of people have trouble getting invested in the FFXIV story due to how slowly paced the beginning part of the game is.
"The game gets good about 100 hours in," is a meme that I think many people take literally, and it makes them want to skip past it, or not play the game at all.
I made this joke a while ago, about forcing everyone to listen to me narrate the beginning... but what if I did it for real?
I'll do a super long stream, where I'll go all in, voice act every character, and do my very best to make the story as engaging and interesting for you as possible!
I'll even teach things like quality of life settings, some side content, and we'll all play together to make it as easy and fun to get invested in your adventure!
Would you be interested in such an event?
Usually around 30-50 layers. It's very dependant on mood.
Sometimes the character's skin is all rendered in one layer, sometime it's rendered in 5 different layers.
Artist, how many layers do you usually use for one piece?? I'm just a little curious^^

It finally happened. I broke character.
3 times, in 3 minutes.
I have never shared this part of my life with any of my irl friends before. But yesterday, I completely broke down.
Maybe it's courageous, or maybe it's pathetic. But this carried so much weight in my life and it still does today.
I truly believe that re-engaging with painful memories is not meant to be a cruel act to oneself. But instead is a learning mechanism that allows us to desensitize, adapt, and to become stronger over time.
I'm not saying this is the only way to do it. But it has helped me out tremendously as a kid. And I guess even now as an adult, it's still helping me.
Streaming really makes us do some crazy things doesn't it?
