The audacity of Waiguru saying Sifuna isn't ready. She must be thinking the standard for readiness is how much you can steal.

It’s actually the other way round Mr. President. There is a reason the right to life and the fundamental freedoms come first in the Bill of Rights. More than anything else we want to live in a free and democratic country because in the dark of the grave where you put Rex Maasai and Albert Ojwang, you can’t see shiny things.
President William Ruto has declared that freedom and democracy are meaningless without development, sharpening the political debate with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna over what Kenya needs ahead of the 2027 general election.

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from living in a country where you cannot confidently plan your future because the economy, currency, electricity and cost of living can ruin your plans overnight.

The real tragedy of living in a third-world country is that you can do everything right and still struggle because the environment is designed to make ordinary things unnecessarily difficult.

A government that shuts down working health systems because its not putting money in the pockets of the high lords of corruption and is serving the common folk without problem is a government that should be fired and kicked out at dawn.

They literally looked at a health system that was actually functioning for patients, said "This isn't making the right people rich," and unplugged it. 💀
Consolidated dry land farming….. pastrolism especially, done by the Maa, shall we have them abandon their way of life for current urban planning paradigms so that successive governments do not have to offer basic services?
Replying to @Very_Maureen
Humans have embraced urban living, which is supported by current urban planning paradigms. Persons who choose remote off grid habitation should adequately prepare for adverse conditions.
No doubt. Question is, how many bowsers have they sent, how many days do they intend to do it for until the rains come, and what of long term sustainable solutions are they offering for this perennially water scarce region of Kajiado West?
Is this in response to the residents complaining about hiking 40km in search of water after TC was shutdown? @Very_Maureen
A band aid solution which I’m sure the community is grateful for. Can we talk long term sustainable solutions in the 40Km stretch between kamukuru and mile 46?
